We had this Chinese caterer for our wedding, and everything was absolutely incredible! Our guests are still talking about how good the food was. The garlic lobster noodles were insanely delicious — perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. The filet mignon was so tender and juicy, and the duck meat with buns were unbelievably good.

The presentation, flavors, and quality were all top-notch, and the team made everything run so smoothly on such an important day. We couldn’t have asked for better food or service.

Matthew and his team did the most spectacular job. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for Chinese food at their wedding.

We were guests at a wedding in Temecula that was catered by Paracel. The food was prepared on site (10+ course chinese banquet style) me along with 200+ guests absolutely raved about the dinner. Highly recommended!

Had our wedding reception at Paracel in August and it was truly amazing. Our focus for the wedding was making sure we had good food and good vibes, and Paracel 1000% delivered.

Matthew is your go-to guy and he was wonderful to work with from beginning to end. He was transparent and accommodating to almost anything and everything. He's really professional, personable, easy to reach, and truly made our wedding day stress free. We hired him as our DJ/MC too which made it even easier on the day of, and was able to engage with both our younger and older crowd in English & Vietnamese. He catered music towards our preferences and was able to hype up our crowd with many people staying late to dance

Food was great, all of our guests shared how delicious and flavorful the dishes were. With our guests being a mix of the younger and older Vietnamese crowd, everyone across the board were impressed by the restaurant's food and service. Be sure to get open bar too! If you book Paracel, it comes included with the food tasting up to 10 guests, and you can ask for adjustments in spices based on the tasting for the actual reception.

Paracel's capacity for the venue is up to 400 guests, but if you want space for outside vendors, I'd recommend 250-300 range to be comfortable. Overall I can't emphasize how great Paracel's food and service is. Shoutout to Matthew's parents too, the whole family is wonderful. Highly recommend to have your wedding reception here!

My wedding was so amazing!! Thank you Matthew, his family, and staff for being super helpful and accommodating to all our needs even with last minute changes as well. Everyone had such a great time and raved how good the food was. It was definitely a night to remember with all the great vibes. I would recommend this venue to anyone looking to have any special event! They really listen to all your wants and needs and execute it seamlessly.

Matt and his team were absolutely phenomenal. We had worked with Matt for a full year prior to our wedding, and he was attentive and accommodating from the very beginning all through the entire process. His team cooked onsite at The French Estate for our wedding, and everyone was in love with their food. Matt was also our DJ, and he did a wonderful job. Everyone loved his playlist, and he even had a very clever way of getting ALL 150 of our guests onto the dance floor for a selfie! Not often do you get to capture everyone at once for your wedding, but Matt made it happen for us. We could not recommend Paracel more. You can only go wrong if you don’t book them for your wedding.

We’ve been to this venue twice before for family weddings, and both times left a great impression. So when it came time to celebrate my mom’s 70th birthday, this place was at the top of our list. I remembered the atmosphere being warm and welcoming, and the food was excellent—this time was no different.

Planning was smooth throughout. I worked with Matt and his father, Tom, who clearly puts a lot of heart into the business. Tom was detail-oriented, thoughtful, and genuinely invested in making the event a success. During the tasting, he walked us through everything and made sure each dish reflected what we wanted for the night.

The space looked beautiful and felt just right for the occasion. One minor thing I’d mention: the tables can feel a little cramped with ten guests, and the center turntable sometimes bumped into the glassware. That aside, everything else—from the layout to the flow of the night—was spot on.

The food was incredible. Standouts for me were the filet mignon beef cubes, the lobster tail, and the basil fish. Every course was flavorful, well-portioned, and served at the right pace. The guests kept commenting on how great everything tasted.

Our coordinator, Swan, was on point the entire evening. She checked in regularly and handled a few special requests without missing a beat—like uncorking some wine we brought in after the open bar closed. She really helped the night run smoothly.

All in all, the whole experience exceeded expectations. I’d absolutely book with them again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them for weddings, birthdays, or any special event. Prices are reasonable, the service is top-notch, and the recent exterior remodel gives the place a fresh, updated look. Inside is well maintained too. Five stars all day long.

Wedding reception

We had our wedding ceremony and reception at Paracel. They were so great to work with. Matthew was so helpful when bouncing ideas around and helped us with so much. He was our DJ as well and my family and friends loved his music choices and the vibes throughout our entire wedding. Matthew was also very responsive and receptive to all of our questions.

They are flexible and that helps so much when planning a wedding!! We did the tasting and had some adjustments for the day of our wedding. My husband and I loved the food and the leftovers (LOL)! I definitely recommend gathering some family and friends to do a tasting and take notes in case you want to make changes.

We had 150 guests and a boba vendor and photobooth vendor inside the restaurant. There was space for both and additional late-night snack table and arch display. As the bride, I had a blast out our wedding and I'm so thankful to have found Paracel! They were awesome to work with and we would recommend!

They were nice and responsive through email and requested I book a tour through their website link. I booked the tour and confirmed via email and then when I showed up it was closed. After texting and calling they said they forgot and could be there in a couple of hours. Unacceptable for a company who is going to be costing me thousands of dollars, I wouldn’t trust them. Also their whole plaza is having outdoor renovations so it is not sightly until that is completed.

Nice event space and staff

It's been almost a year since we did a tasting at Paracel for our wedding. Originally we were going to skip out on the tasting as we didn't have 10 people to go to the tasting and didn't want to spend almot $500 on it to potentially not choose them.

Thankfully though, they were able to do an abbreviated tasting for $50 per person. We got to try 6 out of the 9 menu items. We signed right then and there and we don't regret it! We even signed to add on DJ/MC package!

I was a bit worried because we weren't booking Paracel's venue but they've worked with our venue multiple times so I felt at ease. We just had our wedding and friends are still RAVING about how good the food and how entertained they were with the music.

Matthew also did a fantastic job with being the DJ and MC. He added a bunch of adlibs seamlessly and I was shocked - I wasn't expecting it at all since I didn't have it on the timeline. But it worked out so great and everything he did really added to our wedding. He even played a last minute voice recording from our best man and MOH who unfortunately couldn't come last minute.

For those on the fence - I would say, go and at least do the tasting. Talk with Matthew, learn about how he got to where he is today, and get to know each other. I promise, you won't regret it.

We recently attended a wedding food tasting, and while there were some good aspects, there’s definitely room for improvement.

The soup was the highlight — flavorful and well-prepared — but the main courses didn’t quite hit the mark. The beef and lobsters were dry with not much added flavor. The shrimp felt a bit bland and could use less of Mayo to make it tasteful.

The dessert option was just simply fresh fruit. Though there’s potential here, a bit more refinement in both the food and dessert would make a big difference.

We booked Paracel for our wedding tea ceremony & reception venue, and Matthew for our MC & DJ. We were thoroughly satisfied with our experience with the venue & Matthew.

When set up, Paracel was such an beautiful venue to have our wedding reception. We would say the space was just right for about 200 guests with plenty of room for our other vendors to setup, including an outdoor patio. However, it would be good to know that the projector screen is right behind the stage which did prevent us having a slideshow as our sweetheart table arch backdrop did obstruct it. We opted for the Platinum Plate Menu & even had an opportunity to try the food before booking. According to our guests, they enjoyed the presentation of Lobster Fruit Salad. Other highlights included the House Special Lobster Garlic Noodles & Peking Duck with Steamed Bun. They thought the food was delicious & plentiful. The bar being indoors & close to the tables made it very convenient for many of our guests to easily grab a drink. Matthew was accommodating & was easy to communicate with throughout the planning. He also gave us suggestions and recommendations based on his experience.

Matthew as a DJ & MC was also phenomenal. He exceeded our expectations with keeping our guests engaged & entertained. Despite his limited Vietnamese, his father was also there that night to assist with translating for our Vietnamese guests. Matthew really knew how to read the room & hype people up. As the night was coming to a close & the dance floor opened up, he seemed to know what music to play to keep the crowd going & even concluded the night with a special moment for us.

Paracel has such an amazing package for a wedding reception. You would be hard pressed to find an experience as good as Paracel in the area. We highly recommend Paracel for your wedding or next event!
