“I wasn't in town when they had their grand opening. I heard enough buzz for me to try this place out. For those who don't know, Lairai in Vietnamese means to slowly enjoy food and drinks with friends! Neat right?Lairai serves up Vietnamese tapas! I ordered their salted eggs chicken wings, crab soup, and grilled octopus. The star dish of lairai is actually their crab, but that is something I would have to get next time since there person I came here with is vegetarian :P The salted egg chicken wings were delicious! Savory and slightly sweet. Grilled octopus paired with spicy kimchi was a good pair - great texture with a kick of smoky and spicy with the kimchi. The soup was a great dish to end the night since it was fairly cold on NYE.I do recommend everyone to come here and try it out. The restaurant is small, but cozy. Vinyl records scattered across the ceiling. Definitely has a nice vintage retro feel“

“I’ve had the opportunity to visit TRUST twice and was blown away each time. The entire experience is thought through and designed for each guest to blown away. The wine pairings were such a wonderful touch. The food is next level and something to be savored. You can feel the love and passion from everyone on the staff. “Good sauces on the menu and a varied menu at that. The French Onion soup was flavorful but not chocked full of nuts and bolts and a tad salty. Many wines we wanted were not in stock, very disappointing. Only beer and wine service, not a full service bar. Excellent server, knew her stuff and attended to all needs.“

“Wow, this has got to be the best ramen I've had in recent memory! The spicy yuzu tonkotsu was amazing. So unique and complex. And the chashu was cooked PERFECTLY. best ramen meat I've ever had, maybe.

The single piece of scallop nigiri I ordered was similarly done perfectly. Soooo fresh. I can't wait to come back and eat more sushi, if the rest of their nigiri is this quality.

Highly highly recommend. Nice elevated vibe. Classy music, good mood. Could even be romantic – but not pretentious.“

“If you go for dinner the food is delicious, it's a Spanish menu and I personally liked the empanadas a lot, dates with blue cheese are delicious too and the potatoes were delicious. The waitress wasn't always the friendliest, suddenly her tone was a little sharp. Even the food could have been given a 4, the live music is good, the group plays and sings very well, it has a great atmosphere, however the mixes when the DJ is on are a bit out of tune, there may be music from the 80s, the next 90s, then some From now on, the next reggaeton and then very quiet music, you have a good time, it is a little tight to dance because there are enough people (the tables are removed to make a dance floor in the center). In general I had a good time. We arrived at 9 for dinner and stayed, there was no cover charge to enter (I don't know if you have to pay later)

Parking: It is in a shopping center, there is enough space on the first floor and it is free.“

“It’s obvious the whole entire restaurant workers are trying to give you a different and maximum service experience no questions about that, however, the portions served were for two people, I had to divide it and served it my self and to my friend, couple of small portion cocktails drinks were served to sweet to my taste, while my friend requested a couple of white wine glasses, food was average. Overall the experience was good.

“The best hand rolls in the soco area. Mathew our waiter, definitely took care of me and my girl. Was very attentive, and also gave us recommendations. The eel, snow crab, rolls were delicious. The eel bowl I got was the right size for the portions. Hit the spot. My girl enjoyed the tonkatsu ramen ?. The only thing I can say would be parking. Other than that it's a definitely must go spot.

Parking: Parking on the street is free, good luck though finding parking.

“Social in Costa Mesa has been a must-visit for us on every trip to SoCal since 2018, and it never disappoints. We were sad to see the Huntington location close, but the Costa Mesa spot still delivers an incredible experience. Gabriel took amazing care of us during our visit—his service was attentive and made the night extra special. The atmosphere was lively, and the food was fantastic as always. Social continues to be a highlight of our trips, and we can’t recommend it enough!“

“Okay Stacey exceeded all expectations with her charcuterie cups for our event She really is so talented and has an eye to make things that are both beautiful and delicious. People were so sad to even dive in because they were so pretty! Not only were the cups hand crafted and unique with items like sealed crackers, honey sticks, etc, she even included darling pearls and baby's breath for decor that just sent it over the top! Definitely check her out for any of your entertaining needs. She can do anything from single serve cups to GIANT grazing boards. She will customize it to your liking if you tell her what you like/don't like and she even does fun BRUNCH boards!! Can't wait for our next event!!!“

“I was invited to this place, I’m not a fan of sushi, but I can’t deny that I enjoyed the food there. The atmosphere is nice, the service is good, some of the servers were not friendly, but our server was nice and friendly. Go visit the place if you want a good bite of sushi.“

“Love this place ! Portions , variety , service all on point ! A tad pricier then I feel need be but competitive I guess within the area . And this store is located 3 street crossings from the beach , matter of fact if you sit outside in the front you can see the beach . Great view ! Beautiful ! Enjoy a walk down after your meal and maybe catch the sunset ? Oh and there is always the option of seating outside !“

“One of the better taco mexican food joints in so cal, but not all locations are the same. This is a top 3 for us, with newport location number 1. Great staff, food always fresh and plates well made. Good value, a go to over chipotle any day.“
