We saw the staff in the back dropped a baguette on the floor and she picked it up and put it back on the tray. I told the cashier about it, she turned around speaking vietnamese to that lady and she pretends to remove it off the tray but then she didn't throw it away. Instead she used it to make banh mi for the customers ordered banh mi. I was gonna say something about it again but they acted like they can't communicate in English at all that point. I assume this is not their first time. No customers deserve food picked up from the floor.

Wait too....long
Because it is so popular, the shop shows an attitude that it doesn't need customers. Sorry.

Banh Bao Yummy and Che is my go-to place for desserts every time we travel to Southern California! If you're looking for the perfect treats to bring back home, this is definitely the spot. Here are some reasons why I love it:
- Perfect for Gifting: If you're unsure what to buy for elderly family members or parents, I guarantee they will love the desserts and banh bao here. It's a fantastic way to share a taste of something special with them.
- Favorites: My personal favorites are their Che and Banh Bo. The flavors are rich and authentic, making them a delightful treat. My husband is a big fan of their vegetarian banh bao, which he raves about every time!
- Plenty to Choose From: I always stock up on a variety of desserts to bring back home as gifts for my family. There's such a wide selection that it's easy to find something for everyone.
- Highly Recommended: For those visiting from out of town, I can’t recommend Banh Bao Yummy and Che enough. It’s a must-visit dessert place that will leave you satisfied and eager to return!
Overall, if you’re looking for delicious desserts to enjoy or to share with loved ones, this is the place to go. You won’t be disappointed!

The restaurant is very crowded, selling to take away. Bread, roasted pork, etc.

Read many reviews of staff at a few other branches, but when I came here twice to meet a man and a woman, I felt happy and normal.
The dumplings are very delicious, the dough is not thick like some other bakeries, and the sausage inside is also delicious. It's true that they specialize in dumplings here. The thing is that the size is a bit small. It's normal to eat 3 times more than this in Vietnam. Coming here, I found it surprisingly small 😂 This mini size in Vietnam usually only sells sweet dumplings.
There are boxes of 9 for sale for those who can buy them to heat up and take to work, which is also convenient. 👍🏻 $14 for a box of chicken eggs, while quail eggs and salted eggs are priced higher.
In addition, there are also raw sausages for sale to cook in soup or pork rolls with pepper, without pepper and many other dishes.
It’s weird to charge 3% if we want to pay by credit card.

Its BÁNH MÌ YUMMY is my best BÁNH MÌ so far, at least as good as the one in Carrot & Daikon. Both the service speed & the price are on the low side -- Therefore I will definitely go back for more in the future. Love it! They're already passing the savings on you, therefore charging 3% on credit card is reasonable! Don't blame them.

This morning I bought 2 roasted pork sandwiches and ate them like boiled meat. It was too crowded and sold poorly
Horrible service. I ordered a half pound of roasted pork and had to wait almost 30 minutes. They quickly took my money and ignored me when I reminded them that I have been waiting for a long time. What could possibly take to chop a piece of roasted pork? I recommend customers to go elsewhere if they want to have decent service
Good food store

Dumplings ok. But the price is too fake. Quail egg dumplings and salted eggs are the same retail price, but when buying a box, the price is different. Staff are also not happy.
