Usually pretty good. It takes 5 minutes to refire onion rings. I wouldn't give these to my dog; let alone charge someone for burned food. The restaurant portion was empty when we picked up the food. Burger was ok. A bit dry, but edible.

We had lunch at Bills after dropping off a truckload of hay. My son had a steak sandwich and I had a cheese burger with all the fixings. The steak and burger were seasoned to perfection. The fries were the string fries - very tasty. If you're passing Wheatland do yourself a favor and stop at this little gem! Since it was early lunch, did not have anything from the bar - but it looked tempting. Also, the price was right!

Family dining area is tucked in the back part of the bar/restaurant. BBQ entrees are hit and miss but the price can't be beat! I have been there several times and on occasion, the pulled pork sandwich is incredible and served with heaping amount of fries. This time, they skimped on the fries and the pulled pork and tri tip sandwiches were just okay! The non-alcoholic drinks are served from the bar and the female bartender was not so hospitable or friendly!

Before attending a concert at The Hard Rock Casino, we looked for a dinner option on the way, to avoid any large dining crowds at the Casino. (The Buffet was closed this day.) We found Bill's Place on a Google search, and were so glad we did. In the heart of Wheatland, what we found was a gem. The staff were all wonderful, friendly, and helpful, from Chris out front, to Christina at the Bar, and Kristin, in the kitchen. Kristin was great and gave us some recommendations, took our order, and cooked up for us the best ribeye steak sandwich we've ever had!Nice vintage, rustic atmosphere, too. It feels like going back to a simpler time. We highly recommend it!Oh, we made it to the concert with time to spare. ( About a 10 minute drive).
