ANB Teriyaki Grill - Whittier

I have been hearing about this place for a while and even on social media swearing to be the best teriyaki around these and all of LA areas. By all means I try not to believe the hype but if a place has been over hyped definitely is this one. First you walk into a place that's hotter than outside the buzzing of the fly should of told me what the attitude of the woman at the counter didn't, this won't be a good experience. I try to overlook bad attitudes especially if the food is promised to be good .. it wasn't the chicken was as dry as the cashier's customer service.. the idea to paying influencer or giving plates of different quality for the picture or advertising. Is definitely disgraceful, I spent almost 60 dollars on a chicken bowl.. that's rice and chicken .. a box of store bought tempura shrimp dive of them , Costco box has better quality and taste . Moms you almost 20 dollars for rice a preade salad a slice of orange and white rice .. insane the chicken was dry and the salad was old. I wanted to try and support local but places like this is why I drive outside Whittier or stay away the trendy viral places

decided to give this teriyaki BBQ spot a try, and overall the food was good for the price. Based on some of the reviews I had read, I expected a long wait, but I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly my order was ready.
The portions were satisfying, and the food had good flavor. My biggest issue was the dining area. There are only four tables inside, and unfortunately the air conditioning wasn't adequate for the small space. It was uncomfortably hot inside, which made it difficult to fully enjoy my meal.
The food and service were solid, but I hope they improve the cooling in the dining area because it would make for a much better experience.

I ordered the Chicken & Beef bento box for myself and the Chicken & Beef teriyaki plate for my partner. Food was flavorful and delicious overall. The miso soup that came with the bento box was a little on the salty side. The beef also felt a bit in the salty side, but the chicken was perfect. Both meats also had a smokey flavor that was excellent. Will definitely return!

It's got nothing on yoshi .I had beef and chicken and I was very surprised,I scraped not one rice crumb was left

No can soda too hot inside no ventilation food ok

Bit pricey.. thin cuts of chicken/beef/bbq ribs… not worth the price
