I am biased as I grew up down the street and ate here since pretty much when I was born in the 80s. My go to meal as a growing teen was a corn dog, a chilli cheeseburger, and chilli cheese fries with an Orange Bang. My favorite thing to get are the chilli cheese fries. Especially when topped with pastrami or carne asada or both IYKYK. I've eaten at dozens of these beloved L.A. subdivision greasy spoon diners and Douglas has the best chilli cheese fries.

This is one of our favorite places to eat! We came in for dinner and ordered the chicken quesadilla and cheeseburger combo. Both were delicious. My boyfriend ordered a banana split, which was also delicious! The staff is always friendly, and the dining area is always clean! I highly recommend Douglas Drive In for breakfast, lunch, and dinner! 🤎
