Stopped by NYX last night for drinks at the bar with a friend and had a really good experience. The cocktails were great, and the bartender was so friendly and welcoming. I also noticed that management made an effort to check in with every table, which was a nice touch. We didn’t try the food this time, but we’ll definitely be back for dinner soon!

Wow! From the aesthetics, hostess, service from David, and the food, 5 star experience. David was exceptional in making sure our experience was enjoyable and it was very enjoyable and memorable. The crab and ceviche top tier. Ribeye, Sea bass, broccolini, Mac and cheese, cauliflower mash, were all well seasoned and cooked to perfection. I am looking forward to coming back to enjoy the same appetizers, try the lamb, and hopefully get David again. Highly recommended!

Nyx in DT Whittier stands out with a sexy vibe in a dimly lit yet beautiful and inviting setting with chill music selection. The main dining area offers a more formal setting while the bar area is more relaxed with half booths and high tops. Service is courteous, prompt and professional. Management makes an effort to check in with every table. The cocktails are great, and the bartender is friendly and welcoming. The crab and ceviche are top tier. The Chilean sea bass is perfectly cooked with a nice crisp on the outside and buttery on the inside, accompanied by cauliflower puree and grilled broccolini. The filet mignon cooked medium rare melts in your mouth. The ribeye, T-bone, and wagyu burger are flavorful and cooked perfectly. The pasta bolognese features fresh, thin pasta with a rich meat sauce. The halibut ceviche is excellent. The vesper martini is very smooth yet packs a punch and served super cold. The Cosmonaut is also great and not too sweet. The only drawback is the lack of a dress code, as many guests were dressed casually. Overall, Nyx is a high-quality dining experience and a perfect place for a romantic date night.
