“This place has the best ambiance, sandwiches, milkshakes, service, and more! We are so glad we happened upon this place. Now it is our go-to stopover lunch every time we are headed up to the Humboldt Redwoods. The people who run this place are so nice and generous. We always have a great experience here, and the food is really delicious and reasonably priced, too.“

“Stopped here tonight for dinner. I eat here fairly often because I’m constantly driving back and forth from Sacramento to Fort Bragg, and this has usually been one of my favorite spots to stop.

Unfortunately tonight’s experience wasn’t great. The older woman working the front was very uninviting and made me feel like I wasn’t welcome. This actually isn’t the first time I’ve felt that way during one of her shifts. I normally come earlier in the day when the younger servers are working, and the service is usually much better.

The cooks did a great job tonight — the food was good as always. I left a $14 tip on a $27 check for the kitchen because I appreciated the meal. I still left a $5 tip for the server because I didn’t want to leave nothing, but honestly the service is the reason I’ll avoid coming in when she’s working.

I hope the restaurant takes this feedback seriously, because I’ve always liked stopping here and would prefer to keep coming back.“
