“My very first time at Waba Grill, even though it’s been in business for quite a few years. I visited the San Pedro location on Gaffey St. While it’s hard for me to review the atmosphere since I was ordering a To Go order, the store seemed clean and safe. The counter clerk (Gerry) was extremely friendly, especially after I told him it was my first time there. I asked if he could give me a general rundown of their menu, which he did, and he was super patient when I asked a couple of stupid questions lol. The food was tasty, but overpriced for the amount given. They also need to do better on the cut of their beef, as it had some gristle. This may be the beef purchased by corporate, as opposed to the prep worker’s skill in the kitchen. My impression is that the “kitchen staff” is simply 1 or 2 employees who simply assemble and heat the menu items. Nevertheless, Gerry was a good employee to have up front since he was both friendly and helpful. I may go back to give it one more try. Good location, clean and safe, with plenty of free parking in the back parking lot, and free side street parking as well.“

“Absolutely blown away by this amazing Chinese restaurant! We started with the Beijing duck, and it was hands down one of the best I’ve had—crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside. You could taste the quality and care put into every bite.

We also ordered the fried chicken wings, and they were packed with flavor—perfectly crispy, seasoned just right, and seriously addictive.

The char siu, sausage, and shrimp fried rice was a total standout. Every bite was loaded with rich flavor and generous portions of meat and seafood, making it one of the most satisfying fried rice dishes I’ve had in a long time.

The fried tofu was also delicious—crispy on the outside, soft and silky on the inside, and paired perfectly with the dipping sauce.

On top of the amazing food, the waitress was super friendly and kind, which made the experience even better. Will definitely be back to have some more!“

The service is great. They are Vero honest people. I always talked to them and were my work close ,so they knew where i worked. So, I left my credit card on the machine and didn't know I had lost it ,so the next day, I received a call at my job telling me they have my card 🤦‍♀️. “The curry is very good and not too heavy or salt. It goes very well with the poached egg and beef nikutama was very flavorful with the onions. The tempura was very soft and flaky. I've been here a couple times and loved getting the dashi broth and miso udon along with other tempura items available like the shrimp or zucchini.

There's a fair amount of seating along with outdoor seating. Plenty of parking available in the plaza with other restaurants there. The staff was nice and attentive to the items you wanted.“

My wife and I were exploring LA and staying in LA for our sixth wedding anniversary we stopped here for lunch and we loved it, I got the chicken and beef large bowel and my wife got the veggie bowl and it was delicious. “Utsav Indian Cuisine is hands down the best Indian food restaurant in the South Bay. Just real authentic food without all the pretense of some of the beach city places that supposedly sell "Indian" food. The lunch buffet is reasonably priced and always well stocked and the wait staff are very pleasant and attentive to all our needs.“

When she called everybody else up for their food she didn't give them rude vibes, but when my order was called and then I said thank you and I asked for a straw she threw it on the counter. “My go to waba-grill in Long Beach!! The food is always fresh and delicious as a frequent customer never have I encountered a food mistake. Shout out to the cashier (Daniel) always greets guest with a big smile and he’s very kind. Also to the cook (Julio). The bathroom is always clean big major factor. Finally the wait time. The food is always out fast and hot, there’s rarely a wait time. Overall if you are looking for a quick healthy meal this is the best spot to find what you need.“

“So, I'm really picky when it comes to food and the last Korean BBQ place I went to made me not want to get Korean BBQ anymore. But we tried this place and it was excellent. The meats were good quality and tasty. They had just the right sauces and salts, and came around to help us organize and cook the meats. The side dishes were so good and when they ran low, the owners would fill them up again so we were never low on sides. Three bowls of rice was just enough for three people. We ordered the $88 meal which was plenty for three of us and would have been good for four. Will definitely go again.“
