in any other restaurant u can upgrade any meal, at el pollo loco u can't, it has too be a whole chicken or half a chicken in order to upgrade your side orders, not sure if its only the one in Wilmington ca or all of them,
it doesn't matter if I had too pay extra but they don't upgrade the meal if u ask them
