We found Dolopi through Instagram, and this was our first time trying them. We came from Las Vegas, and Dolopi was our first stop in Los Angeles on Ventura Boulevard. We’re so glad we stopped!
We ordered the grilled heart and liver kebab and chicken kebab, and everything was fresh, flavorful, and delicious. It really gave us that authentic Persian street-food experience.

Dolopi is a restaurant on Ventura Boulevard in Los Angeles that serves authentic Persian food. It was found through Instagram by visitors from Las Vegas, and it was their first stop in Los Angeles. The food came out looking just as good as it tasted. The grilled heart and liver kebab, chicken kebab, Koobideh Kabab, Joojeh Kabab, Del & Jigar, Kabob Torsh, and Shish Kebab are all fresh, flavorful, and delicious. Everything is cooked perfectly, and the meat is fresh. The traditional Persian tea brewed over charcoal in a samovar, served on the house, was a favorite touch. The place is clean and organized, and the quality and authentic flavor show real care. The atmosphere is warm, and the customer service is wonderful. The hosts are kind, welcoming, sweet, and hard-working, and they create beautiful moments for their guests with their hospitality. Every single dish is made with quality, care, and real Persian taste. It is one of the best places for authentic Persian food and real Iranian Koobideh Kabab in California. Every meat lover must try this place. It comes highly recommended, and visitors will absolutely be back.
