We celebrated our anniversary here and it didn’t disappoint at all. We were seated right away, everyone was very warm and welcoming and the atmosphere was wonderful. Josh and the other gauchos did an amazing job but Josh went above and beyond, being very attentive to our requests, questions, and being the perfect amount personable with us as well. Steven also made us feel very welcomed and was very pleasant to talk to. A great experience with great food and a great team bringing amazing service. We will definitely be back

I've always loved FDC! I've been to just about every sort of event here - holiday parties for work, post-funeral gatherings, casual dining... It's not really the kind of place you'd come to on your own, it's a business class restaurant designed for groups and unless someone else is paying, you'll find yourself with a hefty bill at the end. It's really good, and that's why it's so expensive. I am not someone who is all that into meat. But their salad bar, I could eat from all day long. Their soups are some of the best I've literally ever eaten in my life! It's always a pleasure dining there and I'm glad they're centrally located with easy parking. No valet like many other places of this type.

One of the best Fogo locations! Especially having Katelyn as our server. She’s one of the best servers I’ve had take care of us and made the experience that much better. She was kind and very attentive and would come back just for her to serve us!!! She also gave us free dessert and the key lime is so good.

There are good bartenders, exceptional hospitality professionals, and then there are rare individuals who elevate an entire establishment. Johnse Allende, “The Caip Man,” is 1 of 1.

At Fogo de Chão Woodland Hills, Johnse doesn’t simply make caipirinhas—he creates an experience. His cocktails are ethereal: balanced, fresh, precise, and remarkably consistent. But the drink is only the beginning.

The cocktail is the vehicle. Hospitality is the real product.

Johnse possesses something corporations spend fortunes trying to teach: the instinctive ability to make guests feel recognized rather than processed. He reads people, remembers preferences, creates genuine connections, and turns ordinary service into memorable hospitality.

That isn’t merely bartending. That is brand building at the human level.

You can hire another bartender. You can teach someone a recipe. You cannot train another Johnse. His combination of craftsmanship, charisma, emotional intelligence, and genuine hospitality makes him an invaluable anomaly.

Leadership often reveals itself before a title acknowledges it. Johnse already demonstrates the qualities of someone capable of teaching, modeling, and multiplying exceptional hospitality across a team.

Fogo de Chão shouldn’t simply recognize what Johnse does behind the bar—it should recognize his potential beyond it. Promoting, developing, and compensating talent like this isn’t an expense; it’s an investment.

Smart companies search everywhere for people who create loyalty and culture. Sometimes the smartest move is recognizing the person already doing it.

Johnse is 1 of 1. The caipirinhas are extraordinary—but the greater asset is the man making them.

Great atmosphere and ample variety of meats and sides. The choices from the salad bar are fresh and plenty.
Our server, Cruz, was super polite and efficient. Great attitude and made our granny’s birthday a special one.

Parking should be simpler and free
