I have been in LA for 15 years, and I see my self as a Kabob sommelier. The hardest kabob to get right is Koobideh, so much so that I rarely order koobideh in America. Got their koobideh tonight. I'm extremely satisfied.
Shoutout to Faraz for helping me with my order. Sweetest guy!

I’ve been eating at this place for the past month and I’ve tried their beef, chicken, and salmon dishes, and every single one has been excellent. If you’re looking for high-quality food, THIS IS THE PLACE!
First, let’s talk about the Koobideh! I’m a serious Koobideh fan and a very picky one. I don’t hand out compliments to Koobideh lightly. But Kabob Village has one of the best Koobidehs I’ve had anywhere in the Los Angeles area. The flavor is outstanding, the texture is perfect, and it’s cooked exactly the way it should be. As of today, this is my number one Koobideh in LA.
And then there’s the bread. They make it right there at the moment. Oh. My. God. The bread is so fresh and delicious that I always end up asking for extra. Sometimes with my meal, sometimes to go.
Finally, we need to discuss their garlic sauce. I don’t know what’s in it, and honestly, I don’t want to know. Some mysteries should remain unsolved. I had it with the salmon and it was a perfect combination. I’ve also eaten it with the bread, and at one point I seriously considered making a meal out of just bread and garlic sauce. No regrets.
This is mostly a self service restaurant where you need to order at the counter. So don’t raise your expectations. They also have complimentary black tea which I really enjoyed it with some Bamiyeh.
Overall, the food quality is outstanding, everything tastes fresh, and if they had it, I would have bought their loyalty card. Totally recommended!

This review is for Vegetarian option only. I am not a big fan of Falafel and that’s the only vegetarian option on Menu. We didn’t ask them to customize anything or asked for any other options. Person at the counter said we can serve vegetarian stew. I opted for it. My bowl of stew came with beef. I didn’t make a scene and told the person. He apologized and replaced it. It still had meat at the bottom of the bowl. I don’t believe they have vegetarian option but recommended (lied) and served meat dish. So if you are a vegetarian, please be warned. They seem to think it’s suggestion not a requirement.
While two of my buddies ate falafel plates and there are no complaints.

A huge disappointment. Was a mistake to fall for their all you can eat Buffett. Ghrimeh. I was told is with no meat. Which o said is ok... however was only split peas and tomato sauce no limone no friend onion and not fully cooked....the kebab and chicken looked like red curry sauces. lol had to fish out pieces of the kebab out of the sauce. Tasted now like boiled kebab :((. Terrible reflection on the rest of their food. They should get rid of their so called buffet is worth $0

Kashk badenjan was watery and not great. Tasted like it was out of a tin.
Koobideh and ghormesabzi were average at best.

So this restaurant does not belong in Westwood, the rice was so old. They kabab mediocre .lived in the area for thirty five years i went to every restaurant around WESTWOOD never like this quality . It should be called microwave big time Restaurant . . Maybe in downtown la , or someone never had persian food before .
For an Iranian restaurant that charges higher prices than many others, excellent quality should be a given. Proper behavior, a warm welcome, and respectful customer service are essential.
We came to this restaurant based on a friend’s recommendation, and since the Orange County branch of this restaurant group is known for good food and solid service, we had the same expectations here.
Unfortunately, the food tasted like reheated frozen leftovers, and the worker’s cold attitude made the experience even worse.

Great service, had about a 15 minute wait - they let me know when I was ordering. No problem with that, I was thankful they let me know. No ice for soft drinks, so I went ahead and passed on that.
The comment is mostly about the food. I ordered the chicken mix combo plate (chicken kabob and beef koobideh). Both were bland and lacking flavor, chicken was very dry - I didn’t finish it. Beef was very fatty and plain.
For the price of $35 after tip, the food was not worth the wait or the cost. Had hopes to find a new place outside of a chain restaurant.

Great food and friendly service. I like to sit at an outside table and people watch while I eat.

Food is whatever. Better off going to Panini Kabob or even better Malik’s if you’re near the Canoga Park area. Worst of all, kicked off our table after a long work shift just so the owners can give preferential treatment to people that they feel are worth more of their time. They didn’t even come to check on us once. Left me and my wife feeling like we’re not wanted there. Don’t recommend honestly. Food alone wasn’t good enough to come back for.

This is a casual kabob place, with a very delicious and juicy beef koobideh.
Good place, you can sit outside with a beautiful view and admiring the sunset. Food good, but I missed the richer flavor.
I think if you add different sauce options it will be really cool ☺️
But the best thing here is the pita. It's the best pita I've ever eaten. It’s amazing!
Make pita for sale, I’ll buy, because it’s soo tasty!
