My husband and I chose to celebrate our anniversary at Mountain House. It was our first visit since it reopened. We weren't disappointed! The food was delicious (all three courses), the wait staff was prompt, friendly, and knowledgeable, and the ambiance offered a perfect mix of warmth and elegance. The chef even sent out a special extra dessert to mark our anniversary. We'll definitely return!
Mountain House has been a favorite for years. First time coming back since new ownership. Impressed by their shift to even more finer dining. No more jukebox or tv in the bar area. The prefix menu was a change, but understand that from an ops standpoint. The food was excellent and presentation was very nice. Every server explained the prep process and ingredients what I would expect high dining experience. The wine corkage fee was a bit steep ( $45 a bottle, max 2) but better...
I hadn't been here in years and I am happy to say it is still wonderful. The service was fantastic and the food was beyond delicious. It is on the pricey side but I'd say it's worth it.
