Needed a break but also needed to do a video training for work last weekend so I headed over to the Village Hub with my screen and AirPods. I ordered a matcha latte (because, L-theanine) and the almond croissant (because, duh) and they did not disappoint! Hidden away in a peaceful Woodside neighborhood, this cozy coffee shop feels like a sanctuary beneath a beautiful canopy of trees. The drinks were exceptional; our cappuccino, mocha, and cortado were all perfectly crafted. It’s clear they use top-tier coffee beans, and you can really feel the barista's dedication and care in every sip. 🙂
Three stars for ambience. 2 stars for coffee. It's a nice place to sit outside and enjoy a coffee, but their coffee isn't all that great. I found their latte bitter and it was not hot enough. The cold brew was equally bitter. Their pastries were delicious but they are brought in from a bakery and not made in house. Their website is also outdated.
