It was my first time at Handel’s (I am normally a Bluescoop fiend) and didn’t know what flavors to try, Etai gave me a couple recommendations and I absolutely loved them, he based it off of my previous favorites from other parlors and hit it right on the mark. I will DEFINITELY be back to try more flavors. Might be my new favorite spot!
Placentia/YL has a triumvirate of solid handmade ice cream options, but Handel's takes the top spot for us!Though it's technically a chain of stores, this Handel's is comparatively good if not better than a couple other locations I've tried (Rancho and Pasadena). The texture of the ice cream here is more creamy and less 'icy' and they really do have an impressive array of flavor choices. This place hits it Everytime, the service is great lots of young kids working here but they work hard scooping the ice cream, please tip them well for their work. Personally I like the Graham Central station, and wife loves the Chocoholic chunk. Whatever you get here you can't go wrong.
