I order one or two bean and cheese burritos along with some red hot sauce. One time I hadn't even finished ordering and they placed the burrito with said hot sauce with napkins in a bag next to the register. I'm a regular customer so they know my order by heart lol! I saw one time they were teaching a seemingly new employee how to work everything and as I walked in I heard them preparing her like, "oh! and that kid always orders a bean and cheese burrito with FOUR red hot sauces, he usually gets a Pepsi with NO ice" it was so nice and funny to see. “We loved this place for takeout! The cashier/chef was so attentive even though he was the only one working. He even gave us extra consommé. The toppings he included with our tacos were more than we even needed - homemade pickled onion, onion, cilantro and hot sauce. My wife and I get cheviche with good portions. Kids got tacos and burritos. The food was very good. Bathrooms are clean. Parking is usually full. Would get more stars really, which affects their service. No parking or place to eat makes us sometimes come back another time when there is enough space. They do have fast service.“

“The food and service at Tacos Manuel was exceptional. We selected this restaurant based upon the reviews. We were in Anaheim on a family trip to Disneyland and we were staying in a local motel. We liked the food so much that we returned a second time. In between our two visits we eat at a local pizzeria and everyone commented on how we should have go for dinner at Tacos Manuel. If in the LA area again, we would drive out of our way to order another round of amazing burritos. Most excellent!“

“Been coming here for years since i was a little girl where they first began on the corner off civic center & fairview , now located on Bristol & first street behind a shopping center , it’s amazing how i got close to the owner as now knows my husband and I and the lovely ladys as well , they already know us by the usual we always get !! Which are the Street Hot Dogs as we toss in some green salsa and it hits the spot !! Especially homemade avena for the cold weather!! “First and foremost, I'm not sure why it has so many negative reviews. Yesterday, my girlfriend and I went to try all of the taco trucks posted at Haster Park. We did one taco per truck and this is where we started to see which tacos were the best. This location was the clear winner among the taco trucks (there were three in total). The fresh made tortillas are out of this world, and the meats we had, al pastor and carne asada, were the best of the best. Sure, they were a little more expensive at $3 per taco, but they were larger and made with fresh hand-made tortillas. After trying all of the tacos, I ended up ordering three more.“

“Been to la Fortuna a couple times and it does not dissapoint. I normally go late at night after work and it hits the spot. They have a variety of meats to choose from and I've tried them all. I like that I'm allowed to have an open tab "cuenta abierta" and keep on ordering tacos. I would say my favorite meats are : cesina, cabeza, asada, suadero, and tripa. I love all their salsas too, they have two greens and one red.(the best is the light green salsa). These tacos melt in your mouth and are the perfect bite size. Give them a try.“
