“I drive about 25 mi once or twice a month to get their chile verde burrito. The chile Verde and carne asada burritos are a little greasy, but delicious. My stomach pays for it later though. Carnitas tacos are so good, probably better than the chile verde.“

“This is a taco truck. I have to say it's the best anywhere in the OC. The mulitas and grilled onions are my absolute favorite. Don't let the long lines scare you, they are actually pretty fast. They are there pretty much all day Tuesday through Sunday, gone on Mondays. Their salsas are also pretty good, careful with one of the red ones, it'll make you grow hair on your chest.“

“I am surprised to not see more people whenever I go eat here, as well as more reviews. I have eaten at this location 4x now and the taste and service has been consistent. They have a good variety of meats and options to choose from. Best part is that they have delicious tacos for only $1! They are small tacos with 2 tortillas, but they are topped well and the salsas do not disappoint. I like the touch of the added chopped cabbage on the taco. I definitely suggest you give this truck a try. $1 tacos everyday!“

“We loved this place for takeout! The cashier/chef was so attentive even though he was the only one working. He even gave us extra consommé. The toppings he included with our tacos were more than we even needed - homemade pickled onion, onion, cilantro and hot sauce. I order one or two bean and cheese burritos along with some red hot sauce. One time I hadn't even finished ordering and they placed the burrito with said hot sauce with napkins in a bag next to the register. I'm a regular customer so they know my order by heart lol! I saw one time they were teaching a seemingly new employee how to work everything and as I walked in I heard them preparing her like, "oh! and that kid always orders a bean and cheese burrito with FOUR red hot sauces, he usually gets a Pepsi with NO ice" it was so nice and funny to see. The bathroom was refurbished and looks significantly better. This the magnum opus of all things holy.“

That’s what I got. It was so flavorful. The tripe is so fresh and perfect. It doesn’t have any hominy which is the best because I don’t like it. I’m more of meat and soup kind of person. So this was perfect.- Birria combo plate! Perfect!! My husband ate this. It was soo much food and also great for left overs.- Ham and egg taco. It was so nice of the server and the chef in the back to make my toddler ham and egg taco. My toddler devoured it. So he really liked it.- Side of rice and beans. My toddler loves rice and beans. What can you say he is a growing boy.- Shrimp taco. I wanted to try this. Don’t judge me. Yes I ate this too. What can you expect. We came here hungry.- Horchata. Delicious. “A hot summer day in Chicago doesn't tend to scream "birria tacos!" and yet I found myself eating at Chela's with a friend. The establishment looks small outside (there is definitely limited parking shared with a Subway sandwich shop) but there is a lot of seating. The service was great- the waitress was very attentive and the cashier was very nice. There are complimentary tostadas and sauce brought to the table and the birria tacos are fantastic! Multiple salsas are provided, but the tacos are spicy themselves. Highly recommend trying them out.“

“The food and service at Tacos Manuel was exceptional. We selected this restaurant based upon the reviews. We were in Anaheim on a family trip to Disneyland and we were staying in a local motel. We liked the food so much that we returned a second time. In between our two visits we eat at a local pizzeria and everyone commented on how we should have go for dinner at Tacos Manuel. If in the LA area again, we would drive out of our way to order another round of amazing burritos. Most excellent!“

“Been coming here for years since i was a little girl where they first began on the corner off civic center & fairview , now located on Bristol & first street behind a shopping center , it’s amazing how i got close to the owner as now knows my husband and I and the lovely ladys as well , they already know us by the usual we always get !! Which are the Street Hot Dogs as we toss in some green salsa and it hits the spot !! Especially homemade avena for the cold weather!! Of course we have tried the rest of the menu and it doesn’t disappoints!!“

“Been to la Fortuna a couple times and it does not dissapoint. I normally go late at night after work and it hits the spot. They have a variety of meats to choose from and I've tried them all. I like that I'm allowed to have an open tab "cuenta abierta" and keep on ordering tacos. I would say my favorite meats are : cesina, cabeza, asada, suadero, and tripa. I love all their salsas too, they have two greens and one red.(the best is the light green salsa). These tacos melt in your mouth and are the perfect bite size. Give them a try.“

I hadn't been in a few years as my family moved, and I was so happy to see they're still serving amazing tacos in the location I used to frequent a few times a week. All of their meats are delicious, but I've found no other local spot that offers surtido, and let me tell you it's off the charts delicious and melts like butter in your mouth! Not to mention they have amazing salsa to really round out the flavors. The area can br a bit questionable after sunset, but just close your eyes and enjoy your meal! ? “First and foremost, I'm not sure why it has so many negative reviews. Yesterday, my girlfriend and I went to try all of the taco trucks posted at Haster Park. We did one taco per truck and this is where we started to see which tacos were the best. This location was the clear winner among the taco trucks (there were three in total). The fresh made tortillas are out of this world, and the meats we had, al pastor and carne asada, were the best of the best. Sure, they were a little more expensive at $3 per taco, but they were larger and made with fresh hand-made tortillas. After trying all of the tacos, I ended up ordering three more.“
