There aren't very many dining options in Yosemite so you take what you can get. This definitely isn't the best Mexican food nor did it taste somewhat authentic but like I said, you get what you get. There wasn't that much of a line to order but the wait for the food does take some time which is understandable. There is seating but depending on when you go it can be scarce. I got the super fries and my fiancé got a burrito with some rice and beans on the side. I was not a fan of the rice or the beans. I can't really describe the beans but they were awful and the rice had zero flavor and they happened to be inside the burrito so I didn't care for it. The fries on the other hand were great. They had guacamole, sour cream, cheese sauce, and your choice of meat, I got chicken. The fries were cooked to crispy perfection and everything meshed well together. You can't really go wrong with cheesy fries. The cheese they used was the kind that goes on nachos but I enjoyed it and I'd get it again.

There aren't very many dining options in Yosemite Valley, so when I heard that the Taqueria had just opened back up in Curry Village, I rushed right over. The taqueria is located in the front and center of Curry Village, in the same building as Seven Tents, the gift shop, and the Mountaineering School. I ordered the super burrito with carne asada. It cost about $12, but was about the same size as my favorite $3 burrito from Taco Bell. The customer service was great. The girl who took my order was really friendly. Most of the burrito was alright. The tortilla was store bought. The cheese and sour cream were American. The guacamole was actually pretty legit, and the cilantro was fresh enough. I loved the carrot salsa, which was the only fresh salsa available. But the carne asada was so bad. If there were laws regulating what could call itself 'carne asada,' I'm sure this meat would be illegal. It barely fit that description by any stretch of the imagination. On top of that, there wasn't much meat on the burrito to begin with, and I had to spit out three bites of unchewable gristle or bone. After this experience with the carne asada, I would not be eager to try any of the other meats. I would say I might come back to try the Street Corn or Vegan Ceviche, but I saw another guest eating an elote, and it looked tiny and overcooked. Overall, I'm not sure whether or not I'll get desperate enough for variety to try this place again.

These tacos hit the spot after a long day of exploring Yosemite. We had all three types and they were all delicious. These are street tacos style so you may need more than you think, which does make it a little pricey but you're a captive audience in the middle of the Yosemite wilderness so nothing unexpected to see some higher prices there.I recommend grabbing some beers from..the convenience store right next door, get some tacos from here, and grab a seat to enjoy the gorgeous surroundings.

I think it’s the only Taco place in Yosemite region, food is good and tasty only thing is they don’t have any indoor seating it’s all outside under the trees… not well maintained they need to improve a lot in this particular

Tasty tacos in the Yosemite National Park. We ordered chicken tacos and carne asada tacos. The chicken tacos are the best. 3 tacos for $10 is good deal.

Great price for the place. We got tacos for our group with rice and beans, and a side of taquitos which were a little dry but tasted good. Free drink refills.

I think the low reviews are a little unjustified for the place. It’s a national park, you can not go in expecting good and cheap food. The food here from my experience is mediocre leaning good and the prices are reasonable for a national park.I got to try the carne asada tacos and the SW chicken salad. The tacos were street tacos and honestly not that bad. I’m mexican myself so I’ve honestly had way better, but for a NPS food establishment, I was happily surprised with the food. Street taco style with corn tortillas, lime, onion, and cilantro. Not too much to desire but still great after a day of hiking in the middle of nowhere. The SW chicken salad was a little disappointing. I didn’t expect a pre-boxed food item when ordering. It was decent but a little expensive for the portion. I would’ve went without it next time and just got more tacos.Overall, I’d recommend the place. It’s better and cheaper than most food i’ve had at other national parks and think people are a little harsh. We’re in the yosemite wilderness after all.

Awful food. This place needs to take a long hard look at itself.
