Beautiful interior with tall open beam ceiling. Large windows to the north end of the room. Tables have good space between them. Walls decorated with large photographs of the Yosemite area. Menu is limited but should offer choices for most. Not inexpensive and really not child friendly options. We have eaten here several times each year for a decade and keep coming back. Service is always excellent. We have enjoyed this option over the Awanhee hotel dining room.
While the Yosemite site says that reservations are strongly suggested, we did see open tables and saw groups without them being seated. Online also says there is a dress code but we overheard this was no longer the case. Surprisingly nice cocktails and menu-better than standard fare. Friendly service.
We ate here twice while visiting the park and would come back time and time again! It's is so important to make reservations in advance even in the off season because this place always books up. Get the lamb, it's amazing!!!
