Stopped off for a quick lunch and were surprised by the quality and price. Being in the park we expected it to be more expensive. The chilli bean soup was delicious and the freshly made sandwiches were fine. Nice and cool inside and very clean. Friendly service.
This is probably one of the better places to stop and pack up for last minute snacks and meals on the trails. Coffee Bean is located inside along with premade packaged meals. I got the ham and swiss sandwich along with a southwest chicken sandwich. Can't forget the extra hydration of Powerade. Also, if you need water get it here!!! I don't have high expectations from the food in cafes and restaurants in the middle of a national park, but Degnan's Deli was pretty good. We got the chicken caprese sandwich and the vegetarian sandwich - both sandwiches were very good, though they were so heavily stuffed that they were quite messy to eat.
