Bistro Jeanty is always a fantastic choice when visiting the Napa Valley. We have eaten there many times and last night was for our son's birthday. Everyone had appetizers, main and dessert. Probably too much food because the portions are not small. Our waiter gave wonderful recommendations. We will definitely be back

We knew Bistro Jeanty from our last visits five years ago and it was always fantastic and delicious! So we decided to come back. And this was a mistake. Restaurant looks like the same, the service was good but the food was a shock to us. After we have ordered the appetizer it was served two minutes later. We hadn't even eaten half oft the starters when the entree arrived. Bad timing!! The quality of the food was cheap and it was frozen food warmed up in the microwave. Really pathetic for so much money!!

I'm originally from Europe and French cooking is no stranger in my home. - The snails were undercooked and lacking, imo, garlic. - The s'tar' tomato soup is ok but, really, my mom makes the best. - We both ordered the steak frites and we both agreed that the meat was on the dry side and the dish lacked some uplifting other than the sauce. The fries were wayyyyyy too salty. Didn't feel like spending another dollar for desert at this place. It was close to $300 for the 2 of us and, believe me, I'll cook a terrific filet mignon au poivre next weekend to purge this very disappointing experience.

Very relaxed atmosphere and excellent service. Our server was very nice. We ordered the trout and paella and both dishes were excellent. The dishes are large. We skipped the appetizer and glad we did. Will visit again.

We sat on the patio for lunch. We split he beet salad and octopus salad to start. Excellent Then two people had petrale sole, one had chicken and I had sweetbreads and morels with puff pastry. All of the entrees were delicious. Dessert was a warm chocolate bread pudding we shared. It was fantastic. Great service. Great place

A very disappointing anniversary dinner at what we hoped would be a special spot. We were excited to celebrate at Bistro Jeanty, but the food quality and overall value simply didn't live up to the occasion or the price. We started with a couple of appetizers that missed the mark. The bone marrow was sadly a letdown—what little there was of it was fatty and unappealing. Similarly, the escargot were overcooked, which made them tough and chewy. The steak tartare was fine, but nothing special enough to justify the cost. The most significant disappointment was the steak au poivre, which completely missed the mark on authentic French seasoning and taste. The only genuinely exceptional part of the meal was the French onion soup. The broth was incredibly deep and rich, and it was a truly delicious and comforting dish. Unfortunately, one great soup wasn't enough to save the meal. We left feeling disappointed, especially since it was our anniversary and we were looking for a memorable experience. Based on our visit, it's hard to recommend.

I have been enjoying this food for 15 years. We had one little glitch this time but it was quickly remedied. We usually eat here once a year and have now changed that to three times a year, from now on. This is my favorite restaurant in Napa Valley. There are many others right behind it. Thank you again for a wonderful experience. Tara and Archie were wonderful servers.

Bistro Jeanty never disappoints. We had lunch in between wine tastings this past weekend. Everything was delicious. I hadn't been there in a couple of years and was pleasantly surprised that it had the same great service and quality dishes.
