What a cute place! So much better than SB! Lovely plants, nice people, delicious coffee and a yummy almond croissant.
I've been wanting to try the village Coffee shop. It is just as cute as it is online. Everyone was super friendly I was greeted with smiles and hellos. My coffee was delicious I had the banana cold foam latte. I like a sweet sweet coffee and this was perfect. The atmosphere is nice and peaceful. It's quite enough where you're able to have a conversation. Nestled in the community, The Village Coffee Shoppe & Bistro is a cute, cozy, and artsy spot with a trendy, aesthetic vibe. The atmosphere is nice, peaceful, and relaxing, with plenty of seating, plants, books, and colorful artwork. It is cool inside, perfect for a conversation, and features a pet-friendly outdoor shaded patio.
The staff is super friendly, always open to conversation, and take pride in making sure customers feel seen. They are great baristas and wonderful at opening up conversations about the Yuba-Sutter community.
The coffee is delicious, both hot and cold, with lots of options. Highlights include the banana cold foam latte, iced toasted marshmallow latte, and chai tea. The coffee cakes, banana and blueberry, are perfectly made and not too sweet. The egg and bacon bagel is HUGE, and the bagel sandwich and breakfast burrito are very tasty. The avo toast looks amazing, and the food is very affordable.
They do get busy, and there can be a bit of a wait, but the pleasant environment makes it worth it. A must try.
