Ambience, service, and food was great. We especially enjoyed the Japanese sweet potato, bacon wrapped dates, lamb meatballs, and juicy pork chop. Chef obviously knows what s/he is doing. Stopped by to watch the music venue afterwards. A little on the expensive side but the quality of food warranted it. They should put some additional heat lamps and decorative lights in the L shaped roofline in the patio area. It will draw more attention from the road. I want the business to do well.

Excellent food with amazing staff, especially the hostess with the mostest in her stylish cherry dress! I've been to MG 3 times now and experienced consistently yummy food, especially those lamb balls. As for the entertainment venue, the performers really deserve a cat walk so when it's standing room we can actually see the performance. Otherwise love the variety of entertainment and supporting our local talents as they're oozing from every cresote!

The food was really delicious. Everything was prepared very well. The pork chop was perfectly cooked. The appetizers were wonderful. We got the pretzels and the little gem salad along with the meatballs.

We made the drive up to Yucca Valley from Palm Springs just to give Mojave Gold a try and it was well worth it. The dining room is warm and cozy with fun decor like gold records lining the ceiling around a central bar. You're presented with an old album which holds the menu and cocktail menu on sleeves you pull out, a really fun touch. The craft cocktails and food were excellent especially the black cod, fish and chips, the lamb meatballs and the mushroom tartine. The service was also excellent on a very busy night. There is also a music venue on the other side whioch we had a look at. A large space with another beautful bar and booths for dining which aurround a large open floor in front of a raised stage. We will definitely be back to check that out and have another wonderful meal.

The staff and food are great and the interior design is beautiful. We went to celebrate our wedding elopement and were not disappointed! The steak frites and porkchop were cooked right and the variety of food is excellent. We definitely recommend to all. We were a little too early to see entertainment but we will make sure to catch that next time we are there.

Overall, this was a good restaurant and visit for a birthday celebration. Service was a little slow and several items we wanted were sold out which was surprising with a 5pm reservation but I guess end of week so it happens. Still recommend and would visit again. The food and cocktails were delicious.

We stumbled on this place accidentally and had an amazing experience. The burger was a standout and the salad was out of this world.....like one of my favorites of all time. I would like to see more lunch type items on the menu though I recognize it is mean to be brunch.

Glad that something is back in this space. The building is nice, and it's nice to have more higher end dining options in the Hi Desert. However, I think this incarnation is not quite as nice as Awe Bar. Service could use a tiny bit more practice/professionalism. Good selection of vegetarian /vegan options, with everything clearly labeled. The bean/mushroom veggie burger was nice, but they assumed (incorrectly, without asking) that I wanted the lettuce-wrap version because I asked for the vegan cheese. My partner had the charred cauliflower, which was very good. Stick toffee pudding dessert was good too.
Mojave Gold is golden to say the least. The food is conscious and delicious. The decor is beautiful and fancy. The employees are so sweet. Stephanie was our waiter for the second time and she was really good to us. We love it here and will continue to come back. We highly recommend it.
