We had early dinner reservations at 5pm mid-week. We were the first seated so I was able to watch their patrons enter for the evening and by the time we left, the restaurant was full. THE VIBE: The room was saturated with golds and polished wood. The menus presented in '60's rock album covers and nods to mid century design are clever not cliche. The colors felt rich but the spaciousness felt casual. I watched "dressed to Impress" young adults, hikers with families...
Lovely environment. Delicious food. Service wasn't great. It was clear the server forgot to put in our order as every guest who came in after us was served their main course before us. No apologies—they just acted like we didn't notice when it was blatantly obvious.
From the minute we called to change our reservation (we needed to be a little bit later than anticipated and they were lovely) through our take-away deliciousness, everyone was wonderful. The food was outstanding and the staff was terrific!
