Our four lattes came out quite unenjoyable - the oat latte was watery, the beet latte was just hot beet juice, the matcha latte was fine, etc. The service was slow even though we were one of three parties served while we were there. Sadly not worth the wait or the money.

This place is awesome bc of the location. I had a hot chocolate rose drink. It was delicious. I also tried their avocado salad and nachos. Both were overpriced and the portions were confusing, not really worth the price. I did like their tortilla chips, which they advertise as gluten free but so are all other tortilla chips bc tortillas are made of corn. The nachos were mostly chips very little beans and cheese. It's basically their "chilli" on top of tortilla chips and some homemade cheese. The chilli does not resemble chilli and it taste canned not home made. Happy cow shows this place as a vegan but it's vegetarian. A lot of things taste like it is from a can. Spices are lacking. They are open limited hours and run out of things early. Each time we went several items were not available.
The chili was perfect for a cold day in February. I would describe the base a a brown vegan roux. Maybe it’s the starch released from the beans that gave it an earthy flavor versus using tomatoes as a base. We added a little hot sauce, corn chips and cheese! Call ahead to verify they are open. Staffing issues have caused them to close one day. It’s dine outside only.
Vegan eats are limited in 29 Palms, Joshua Tree & Yucca Valley overall. Add this place to your list. We stopped for a bite to eat & we were satisfied. Friendly, clean, healthy food with many vegan options plus unique hot drinks like Earl Grey Lavender Late & Tumeric Ginger Late. A unique Rose Water beverage which is soda water w/ rose hips over ice. They sell homemade dog biscuits too. Dog friendly patio was a bonus!!
Everything is very delicious!

Saw the sign for vegan cafe and pulled in… the experience was all 5 stars, hands down. All the stuff is homemade, so fresh, delicious, and hearty. The 50/50 plate with hummus and eggplant ?… I had a dream about it last night. We also got the supercado toast which would rival any avocado toast on the west coast. Can’t wait to go back!
