They are never busy. If you go the drive thru route, you WILL be asked to go park because they want to appear to have fast service. You probably won’t sit in that parking spot too long, expect it to be a few minutes.
Staff are not rude but not friendly. Just “there”. They don’t care of you are there or not, like most chains in Yucca Valley. The one who served me today was walking with my food while also texting - like she couldn’t wait to send that emergency text until I, the only customer there, was served lol

They gave me nasty old disgusting tasting coleslaw I asked for a different side, they said that’s how it tastes, which is definitely not true because I love their slaw. They didn’t want to give me a new side.

I stopped going to this store years ago, because they never had any spicey dark chicken ready, and the service was horrible. But I recently went to see if things had changed, and on this day they did. They had plenty of everything I was looking for, ready to go, and the service was just awesome, the woman behind the counter was Brenda, and she definitely made my day with her great attitude and kindness. I will definitely go back again! Thanks again Brenda!!!

Our experience was completely horrible 😭!
The customer service wasn't in existence 😡 and we felt as if we were interrupting the employees there because we dined in. We were traveling to Palm Springs California 🌴. And Popeyes has been our favorite chicken restaurant. Not only was the service unexceptionable, the servers emphatically denied to me regarding the pieces of chicken 🍗 I ordered was what they were supposed to be. My order was to consist of Thighs and drumsticks, and upon opening my meal, I was given breasts . I calmly approached the server and brought it to their attention, and every one stated I was wrong and they were right. I know the undoubtedly what a chicken breast and a chicken thigh are. And to top it off, as I was consuming my meal while continuing our journey, my chicken breast wasn't even cooked properly. Bloody inside and I was highly disappointed. Sadly I pray that this review is dealt with.
Nevertheless, Popeyes is still my favorite chicken 🍗. Unfortunately not from the 29 Palms location 😭!

Took over 30 minutes to get my order, employees are slow I won’t complain about the food it was good. It’s really just the employees taking forever and getting orders wrong. I witnessed about 4 people complaining about orders and orders got mixed up. The place is nice and clean and like I said the food is good it’s the long wait I didn’t like.

The inside staff was very distant and non caring the only reason I gets a 3 star is the on duty manager actually tried to be nice and caring while on his lunch / Diner break
