Lucky Bamboo Reviews
Fantastic food, inconsistent pricing.
Please update menu on website! I always take food cost into consideration when ordering and was not happy when picking up a togo order & found there was a 30-35% jump between posted prices and actual prices of my order. Love the food, just want to know what I’m paying!
It's Gooooood! Go eat there!
The food is always amazing!!

Lucky Bamboo is a popular Chinese restaurant known for its delicious and fresh food. The restaurant is always busy, but the friendly staff ensures that orders are processed quickly and accurately. It offers a wide variety of choices, including highly recommended dishes like chicken curry and orange chicken, although customers should be aware of the spiciness level in some meals. The jasmine tea and clean table setting add to the overall positive dining experience. Lucky Bamboo also provides takeout service and is open for lunch and dinner, except on Sundays. Many customers who have visited are highly satisfied and recommend it to others, often wishing it was closer to their home.
Most Alamosa residents agree that Lucky Bamboo serves the best Asian cuisine in the SLV! Vegetarian options are available, with all veggies except water chestnuts. The curry is often praised as phenomenal, though some suggest having less veggies and more chicken in the dish. The shrimp lo mein received mixed opinions, with some noting that the portion is smaller than expected. Prices are considered cheap, and the waitresses are very polite and cheerful. The atmosphere is described as cool and inviting.
Lunch specials include a main course, egg roll, fried rice, fried cheese won ton, and a choice of won ton soup, egg drop soup, or hot and sour soup, with the option to substitute the soup for an egg roll. Meals are generally delicious, and customers appreciate the great variety in family dinners. Parking is available in two nearby public parking lots, although street parking can be congested.
