Wonderful celebration of the restaurants birthday! The food was amazing and beautiful. The service was very good. Congratulations!
We started at the Sanctuary for drinks and a charcuterie broad then ate dinner at Friars Fork. All I can say is everything was amazing. We had the 5 cheese ravioli and the meat lovers penne. Both were Outstanding. The drinks were top shelf and the staff was amazing. Can’t wait to go back.
Great place for a date night! Staff is super great very friendly and helpful! The food is amazing! Highly recommend!!!

Based on the reviews, The Friar's Fork & Sanctuary in Alamosa, Colorado, offers the best Italian food with delicious meals and attentive service. The restaurant was up for a JAMES BEARD award. The atmosphere is amazing, located in an old Adobe Church, though the dining room can be over-crowded and is not an intimate dining experience. Chairs are highly padded and very comfortable. The food is divine, with dishes like Chicken Masala, Milanesa, Osso Bucco, Duck Leg Confit, and Fettuccine Alfredo with grilled chicken being savory and delicious. The Caesar Salad with house made dressing and Wedge Salad with house made Ranch are also delectable. The Soup is discontinued, but breadsticks come out to tables now. Ice cold Sangria with pieces of fruit is available, though beverages are served in plastic diner cups. There are full gluten free pasta options, but no gluten free bread options. Reservations are required, as the place was packed after 5:00 PM. The staff, including Ruby and Jayla, are extremely kind and accommodating. The chef and owner stop by tables and are charming. Overall, a great experience for everyone.
