“Reservations - none, it’s seat yourself style. Can be hectic if they’re busy.

Parking - a small lot with a handful of parking spots, there’s also street parking right in front of it, and it’s right next to a Safeway.

Service - a bit slow if they’re busy, but everyone was friendly.

Food -
Santiago omelette - was recommended to us by the waitress. Delicious, would get it again. Overall rating 4/5.

Hash browns & chili - it may not look very good but also very delicious. Similar to the Santiago except it’s just hash browns. Would get it again. Overall rating 4/5.

Cinnamon roll - HUGE. About the size of a full size dinner plate, which was unexpected if you haven’t seen it before. A lot of butter, still tasty, but due to its size it was hard to finish. Would get it again (to share with multiple people). Overall rating 4/5

Coffee - tasted like dirt/very watered down. Maybe it was a bad batch, but disappointing since it’s a breakfast place. Difficult to drink, I could not finish even one cup. Would NOT get again. Overall rating 1/5.

Price - very inexpensive, you get a lot for what you pay for.“

“We took a family vacation to PPIHC and the last part of our trip was Hiking at Zapata and Dunes. I have to try coffee wherever I go, so googled coffee in Alamosa. And found this gem. Some of the best breakfast! And coffee was so good too!! We tried the fried pies also and had to get a couple for the 13 hr road trip. Definitely a place worth stopping at and I’ll be back our next Colorado trip! Super friendly people too.“

“When you walk in the women who own and run this restaurant are hustling and still make sure to greet you - all of them. The food tastes exactly how you'd expect, like these aunties woke up, started cooking and invited the family over.

They didn't bat an eye at my huevos rancheros order even though I asked them to hold this/add that, etc. The green chile held its flavor and wasn't overdone with a bunch of additions that green chile doesn't need. The potatoes had that lovely bit of char and the tortillas were fresh. My huevos were so good I ordered the biscuits and gravy to go for later this week.“

“I had the vegetarian combo with mild green(not vegetarian anymore since the green has pork) but it was really good. Even the mild has some spice to it. The guacamole tostada is a great compliment to this plate. My wife had the cheese enchiladas with red. The chile was very flavorful. We also ordered the chile cheese fries and asked for half and half. They put one chile on top of the other. I've never known any restaurant to not put half on one side, and half on the other. They weren't very good mixed. I would have given it 5 stars if not for this. Lastly, there is a review from Nina S. that said this restaurant doesn't know what hot is. There must have been a mix-up or something on their order because the hot is way too hot and the medium is probably as much heat as I would ever want. I don't understand how you would want or need something so hot that you can't even enjoy the food. The consistency of their spiciness has been consistency over the years, and if anything, it's only gone up a notch. I would always prefer something that tastes good and you can enjoy over something that is so hot that you can't.“

“I'm not big on sandwich places, but what I can say is. There fries are very good. Specifically their beer battered fries. Not too much potato flavor, but a good balance. I had a fish sandwich and it was a good quality fillet. Much better than McDonald's. About close to Wendy's Alaskan cod sandwich. Service....wasn't great, but I will keep in mind my seating choice was in the dance hall. Despite that an employee did see me and my date sit, but did nothing until I spoke with him over 20 minutes later. (Keep in mind where you seat. It's not necessarily their fault)

Good music and atmosphere otherwise.“

“My daughter and I both had carne asada fries and they were SO good! The meat was flavor ful, tender, and cooked properly. The fries were tasty and crispy. The Guac tasted homemade and veggies were fresh. It was a lot of food for one person and I recommend sharing or asking about a half order. (Not sure if they offer this) The reason I give four stars instead of five is just because I think it would be better if they served the food on plates instead of in boxes and it would be nice if they had waiters/waitresses. It is a little pricey for a restaurant that doesn't serve you at your table.“

“It took a little bit of a wait to be seated and for our server to greet us and get drinks started but we also got there at the tail end of happy hour. Once that ended, things were super smooth. My boyfriend had nachos and I had pasta and it was delightful. Well seasoned and fresh, it was everything we wanted and needed. Great beer too. Highly recommend!!!“
