Dutch Mill Cafe Reviews
The food is good
The service is slow
The same excuse every time is were busy with only a few customers
Maybe they need a better line cook or 2 to better serve the customer
Prompt, courteous and delicious as usual. Sorry I missed breakfast, but got my red chile fix on an open face burger!!!
Fantastic
Hands down the best Mexican food you can find, best coffee, best hamburgers and best margaritas. I only come this way from Utah once a year and I eat here once a day while im here, that's how good this place is!

Dutch Mill Cafe is a hidden gem in a small town that serves delicious food with excellent service. For lunch, try their patty melt or BLT sandwich, or visit for breakfast and indulge in their authentic Norteno Mexican dishes, such as Huevos Rancheros or a massive breakfast burrito smothered in green chili. Their menu also includes American fare like bacon and eggs, pancakes, and waffles. The friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere make it a must-stop for travelers on highway 285. Don't miss their green chili, a specialty of the house, and enjoy a warm and pleasant dining experience. The food is great, and they created a great atmosphere. The waitress was so efficient and friendly. The sampler plate with breaded mushrooms, zucchini, and mozzarella cheese sticks was fabulous! The burgers, enchiladas, French dip, tacos chips, and salsa looked great too. They offer very good food, reasonably priced, and it is a true taste of the San Luis Valley. The Ham and Cheese omelet with hash browns and sour dough toast is a favorite, with very generous portions. The green chili is phenomenal, the best in a very long time. The staff is very friendly and provides great customer service. This place is great and has great art on the walls.
