“This place rocked. The host got us seated quickly, our server was super nice, had great recommendations, and the food was delicious. If you like brunch with a unique Cajun/New Orleans/ rustic twist, you will like this place. They have their own habanero hot sauce which was insanely delicious and balanced. Not to mention it’s all somehow all happening in a beautiful house with an amazing rooftop patio. 5/5“
“A great Sunday morning brunch. We went after church and were able to get there before the morning rush. Food was good! I especially enjoyed the shrimp and grits. Service was quick. I wish they would have had a kids menu but we just split an order of pancakes and fruit.“
“Cozy and quiet. No wait when we went. Food was on the table in just a couple minutes after ordering. Crab was pretty quality and they had good seasoning. Very nice staff.Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs and it's pretty open inside. They have a good amount of tables.“
“Come on a Tuesday morning and there’s no wait to be seated!Beignets to start are a must but get ready to get dirty (in the best way possible) - not a day to wear black! The biscuits are good sized and delicious! Scrambled eggs were good too.Definitely want to come back to enjoy more of the menu!“
“We were there for Mardi Gras, so much fun! TONY TERHAN AND THE BLUEKREWE were playing Great music. The food was also really good, red.beans and rice, crayfish etouffee and chicken gumbo! Hurricanes were very tasy!!Loved the whole evening. Packed crowd. Parking can be a little problematic.“
“Amazing experience and my favorite seafood restaurant. This review is long overdue and it's been a year since I visited - clearly this restaurant is still on my mind! The quality of the fish here is incredible, the staff was friendly and the drinks were good. We tried to walk-in without a res (big mistake) but made a reservation for the very next day. It was extremely busy but we never felt pressured to eat quickly. Definitely recommend the calamari. Jax will be my go-to spot whenever visiting Denver.“
“Unreal, underrated food truck. We had the fried green tomatoes and the catfish platter. The breading was super flavorful, the hush puppies were soft and had great texture, and the catfish tasted like it was caught today! Very juicy and not overcooked. The fries could be a tad crispier. My favorite part was the sauces! They don’t skimp on sauce amount or selection- they automatically include them on your plate. Wish other food trucks would take note!I can’t wait to have their food again. Kind staff who really vouched for their food/craft. 10 out of 10.“
“Food was fantastic. At the table, we had crawfish etouffee, shrimp and grits and a shrimp po’ boy, along with the jalapeño hush puppies and cornbread. Everything was delicious, great Cajun flavors - like being in New Orleans. Fun atmosphere and friendly service. Will definitely be back.“
“This place is a taste of Denver inner city life people from all walks of life frequent this small hole in the wall and for good reason, We Had The Bourbon Chicken, and The Barbecue, The Barbecue Was On Point Saucy, Smokey, And The Portions Were Huge, The Bourbon Chicken To Me Was Dry and Was More Smokey Than Flavorful, BUT The Potatoes Were Bussin LOL fried like one would do at home, the Mac & Cheese Was Cheesy Goodness, The Spicy Noodles Were Also a bit dry but the flavor was decent enough, If you ask for extra Bourbon Sauce Perhaps Would Elevate The Bourbon chicken lesson learned for next time the parking is almost non existent but us downtown inner city what do you expect the walk is part of the fun.“
“OMG I have found my new favorite place, this food is amazing!!! I got the shrimp and lobster cajun pasta, husband got fried catfish fried shrimp fried softshell crab platter, bang bang shrimp for appetizer and hushpuppies (I don't like hushpuppies but these are great) we ate and had 2 to go boxes, you definitely get your money's worth here! Server I think was the owner she is very attentive and funny has great personality! White claw and high noon buckets 5 for $20 . We came during happy hour so 25% off apps, beer liquor“
“My fiancé and I saw a lot of reviews on IG and finally gave Yabby Hut a try. This place definitely lives up to the hype and everything we got was sooo good! The sample platter was fried to perfection and tasted great with included sauces. We got snow crab legs, shrimp, and a whole lobster. Lobster was super fresh, very juicy. I think the Yabby seasoning is the best I’ve had in CO!! Our server was really nice and attentive too. Wish we took pics but we absolutely destroyed everything on the table lol“
“We’re in Denver for a day. From Buffalo NY. Drove to Golden to see the town. Quaint little place. Ate at the Trailhead restaurant…. The gentleman who served us was awesome and made sure we had everything we needed. I had a burger with pepper jack cheese and onion straws. It was by far the best burger I ever had! Their homemade chips are the bomb!!! Everything was fantastic! Thanks so much!Parking: Easy to park.“
“This place is amazing!! Madison was our server and she was super sweet! She gave us the best service, answered our questions, and just overall very helpful. We came an hour and a half before closing and nobody was rude once closing came. (Respectfully, we did not over stay our welcome). Food is absolutely fantastic, we got the all you can eat. My husband couldn’t stop talking about the wings we got for days. Definitely will be back!!“
