The staff were exceptionally rude. I had the el paso sub, which was a decent enough sandwich, but not good enough to overcome the negative experience with the staff member while ordering, who was extremely rude for no reason at all. Will not return and would not recommend.

Grateful Deli = straight vibes. Pulled up twice and both times were a hit — the Garcia and El Paso were phenomenal, stacked fresh and made with love. Even better, the lady remembered me the second time, which made it feel like more than just a deli — it felt like home in Aspen.
If you’re trying to unlock the vibes and eat something that hits every time, this is the spot. Will be back many more times 😋

Everything I could possibly want in a sandwich. I would be lost without Grateful Deli.

The sandwich was fresh and delicious. But the service here is unfriendly and forgetful. This is not Subway at a New York suburban train station. 🤦🏻♂️

We came here for lunch during our day spent in Aspen. We split their ‘Cassidy’ panini. It was good, but could’ve had more olives and pesto in it. The sandwiches are made fresh to order, so expect to wait 10-15 minutes for your sandwich if there’s a long line. The prices were very affordable for Aspen. They have a little bit of outdoor seating only. You can only order inside. They give you a discount if you pay with CASH!!!

Went right as they were closing (I know that could be super annoying) but they were so friendly and welcoming. They took out orders with a kind attitude. The sandwiches were huge! But so tasty 😋 variety of drinks and sweets. Cute little restaurant with sitting outside. Would definitely visit again

Simply the best sandwich/deli place in Aspen. Sure, the walls are covered with Grateful Dead mementos, and the sandwiches all have cute Dead names, but the bottom line is the food is fresh, tasty, and they will tweak it any way you like. And I'm always greeted with a smile. My favorite casual place in Aspen.

More like Ungrateful Deli. We arrived 30 mims before close and the ladies were so mean & immediately yelled at us to decide on our order the moment we walked in the door. After we paid, we found a table outside with one chair to put our drinks down before getting screamed at to come back inside to come get our sandwich and we had to go back in because they forgot our chips. Lastly, the ladies shut the whole place down and didn’t even acknowledge us as the only costumers while locking the door & leaving us to find a nearby dumpster to discard our meal.

Great sandwich
Need an amazing sandwich? Help on the way. Not only is the vibe in here unbelievably fun for deadheads, but the food is some of our favorite in Aspen. Excellent meat & vegetarian options and well priced for good portions. A must-visit!

Solid sandwich shop with a good variety of options and you can also build your own. Not really a lot of seating at the restaurant so we took ours to a nearby park and ate there. Decor is fun and staff is friendly. Also a great value for the sandwiches!
Vegetarian options: There are several vegetarian options to choose from.

What a great gem of a place, especially when so much in Aspen is highway robbery prices for mediocre food. The sandwiches are big and GOOD and the brownies they also have are worth trying too.
