Well, we would have had a great experience. It was my birthday and headed here before a concert. A coke was spilled on my new coat and purse, which isn’t normally a big deal but it ruined the coat and the management said they’d only cover the dry cleaning but Not the check. This isn’t a sports bar in the Bronx. It’s Aspen. Doug (manager) took forever to even approach us, only when my husband asked. He weaseled out of it like it wasn’t anyone’s fault. Grow a pair

My girlfriend and I stumbled across this fine Mexican Restaurant when we were actually walking on our way to a different eatery. We decided to investigate the pleasant smells and cool vibes this 3rd level restaurant was giving off. Needless to say, the moment we walked in we decided there was no better place to eat than Las Montañas.
We were beyond pleased with the service and food. Shubham R was our waiter and he was very kind and helpful and assisted us in navigating the menu and select the right meal. We shared the Steak Arrachera & Achiote Chicken Combo Fajitas. Our food and service were excellent, this place is a must stop and eat for anyone that passes through Aspen, CO. Thank you Shubham!

Las Montañas is an absolute must when you’re in Aspen. The atmosphere is vibrant and upscale without feeling pretentious, the service is top-tier, and every single dish we tried was packed with flavor. From the cocktails to the entrees, everything was beautifully presented and truly memorable. It’s the perfect spot for a fun night out or a special dinner. We’ll definitely be back!

Charles's is a fantastic server . The leaf in the four top table kept falling on my legs though. The duct tape wasn't holding .

The area we were in was really too dark, the food was out standing but my cocktail was just ok.

This place blew me away.

We got the green chile queso and the no.6 sizzling fajitas (steak and chicken)

The queso was smooth and rich, my girlfriend(the queso connoisseur) said it was her all time favorite

The fajitas were out of this world! The Proteins themselves were perfectly cooked and very juicy and flavorful. The steak could have stood alone and was one of the better steaks I've ever had. It's almost like going to a steakhouse in the sense they cook a whole cut and slice it perfectly and plate it on the sizzling hot skillet. What took these fajitas to the next level was the delicious Mexican cheese they mixed with the veggies. Since they keep the fajitas on a flame and hot, the cheese slowly griddles and adds a whole new level of texture and flavor. Pair all of this with real homemade tortillas that take me back to Mexico, and you have some of the best fajitas in Colorado PERIOD.

What a lucky find i know for a fact I will stop in for fajitas every time I'm in aspen! Service was excellent as well! Thank you las montanas!!

We had a wonderful dining experience at Las Montañas. The food was delicious and very filling, we got served tortilla chips and salsa on the house twice and our server Charles was very accommodating with our dietary preferences.

Amazing service. Everything is extremely high quality. I must say I tried the best happy hour I’ve ever try with the best tacos ever and great flavors and drinks too.
I even loved their music and restrooms.

For most of our party, the experience was outstanding and food and drinks were delicious. One member of our party has celiac disease and we were surprised by how few options were available to them. Mexican cuisine is generally pretty safe for people with gluten allergies but the options were very limited and our friend ended up having to choose 3 à la carte items instead of a meal. Also, there was so little lighting that we couldn't read the menus without using our cell phone flashlight.

Great spot to grab some happy hour tacos and drinks. The hostess was somewhat rude but the waiter was quite nice and friendly. Worth going there again.

Great patio and nice happy hour. Drinks were good but small for price. Wonderfully made toastodo chips with delicious salsas. Very friendly staff.

Probably my favorite restaurant in aspen. It leans more casual than others, you can get seating when others have a 1hr+ wait.

The fajitas are top notch although expensive — our favorite was the steak one that has pineapple marinade. Also, the lobster quesadilla was world class

It's an excellent venue in downtown Aspen with quite good food. It ranks with the best Mexican restaurants, but being in Aspen, is a bit pricey. We'll be back, however, to try more of what they offer.
