Food was great as usual! It seemed like the restaurant couldn't keep up with how busy it was that day. We come all the time and will be back but it was definitely slow. All good though it's a busy week.
The restaurant itself is nice and location is great since it’s in downtown Aspen. However, my order was wrong. It was our first time coming to this restaurant and we sat at the bar. Prices are a bit pricey, portions of the food are smaller for what you pay for. We initially ordered a beef fajita enchilada ($40) and received a tiny enchilada lol. When we received the bill, out bartender rang this up as a single enchilada ($11) instead of the entree. It wasn’t a big deal but...
My wife and I just celebrated our honeymoon in Aspen and Las Montanas was our favorite food place hands down. We got the pineapple marinated ribeye fajitas which were incredible. The margaritas were some of the best we've ever had and to top it off our waiter Tomas was amazing. Super friendly and on time with service. We will be back again
