“’m always looking for some place different to eat, to stay, to do, when we travel. I’m not sure how I even found this restaurant but I’m sure part of the attraction was a black owned business in Aspen. MAWA’s Kitchen is like striking gold in the mountains of Colorado. Every dish was excellent, from the Brussel Sprout Caesar to the Two Roots Sautéed Greens, pure heaven in your mouth. For our entrees Conrad chose the Red Snapper. It was served on top of some Zaalouk, which is a Moroccan salad of cooked eggplant and tomatoes. Delicious. I chose the West African Gumbo. The flavors meshed together perfectly and had a little spicy Andouille sausage to kick it up a notch. The servers were great and they even gave me a dessert for my birthday. I would definitely recommend this for a great dining experience. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Stopped by for brunch today, another excellent meal. Got to meet Mawa. Such a great place. And the servers are the best!! ❤️❤️❤️“

“Hands down one of the best dining venues in Aspen. We go here every year for our last night in town and it never disappoints. Amazing food, great customer service, deep curated wine cellar and fresh seafood in the middle of the mountains. Last night was a meal for the ages. We tried the entire specials menu and finished with the Dover sole. Wow. Wow. Wow. Long live white Burgandy, lobster, langostines, giant prawns, truffle scallops, tuna tacos, hamachi crudo and the most decadent puree worthy of the great Joel Robuchon. Food heaven.“
