They add in a 20% gratuity even for small parties, which could explain the lackluster service, but it's really hard to be this bad even when your tip is guaranteed. We came during the first part of October so the views were beautiful! We had a reservation and were seated outside as soon as we arrived so that was nice. For our starter, we ordered the elk stuffed mushrooms. It was good and very meaty with a nice butter sauce. My trout was a bit bland but the Coq Au Vin was nice with lots of mushrooms, which we love! We had vegetarians with us and they ordered the tomato mozzarella sandwich and the curry risotto. Both were tasty and beautifully...
Cook house was disappointing…especially since the bill was over $300 for two. Salad didn’t have hardly any dressing. Food came out warm at best…lukewarm really. Steak was good and cooked properly but not hot, neither were the sides. Service was slow and they added an automatic 20% on the bill for service. Nice location and views.
