Excellent!!! I’ve never tried this kind of food before so I was reluctant at first, but I am very happy to have chosen the place!

Amazing Thai food on Restaurant Row in Aspen. I look forward to coming here every time I am in town. The vibe is cool and trendy. Everything I have tried on the menu is so tasty. Staff is attentive and really wants you to have a great experience.

Thai food came in a refined presentation. Son in law was really similar to the Shanghainese braised bork belly - good flavor but quite lacking in tenderness. On the other hand, the green curry was really a pleasant surprise - almost want to say it’s the best green curry I could remember. It had a foamy lightness to its texture, and a unique touch to its flavor that resembled freshness of green veggie juice.

Atmosphere is top. However overall ratings falls off with the taste of food. First thing its expensive but you wont get the quality or taste for this price point. order chicken fried rice its like sauce mixed with cooked rice and served. Also they use sauce which is tangy to all the items in menu.

Had a good dining experience at this restaurant last week. We tried the blue crab fried rice, a pork dish and dumplings. The dumplings was a hit and everything else was average tasting food. The service was great and the restaurant atmosphere and the cleanliness surely draws people to this place.

I recently visited Sway in Aspen, and unfortunately, I had an extremely disappointing experience. When my wife and I asked for a table, the waiter looked at us in a manner that felt racist and dismissive, telling us we’d need to wait 30 minutes without a reservation. However, when I checked online, I could easily book a table in just 2 minutes, and the restaurant was nearly empty, with many open tables.

The waiter’s rude and unwelcoming attitude made us feel singled out and unfairly treated. It’s unacceptable for any guest to experience this kind of behavior.

Update: We visited this restaurant on Thursday night at 6pm (unlike what the owner mentions that it was Friday night in the response). And I literally walked outside, booked the table online and walked back in (unlike what they mention that there was a 30min wait time). You can judge now by how insensitive and rude they are by dismissing the concern wrongly.

We had the Pad Thai & the Thai Basil Eggplant. Both were exceptional! We both agreed that the eggplant was the best we'd ever had. Nice atmosphere. Excellent service.

Susie, our server, was terrific, knowledgeable and concerned about allergies and timing on the drinks.. The bar was a bit overwhelmed but no fault of the bartender who was spot on with making my Ford. The pork shoulder, a generous portion, was flavorful. Another big portion, blue crab fried rice, was very mild but seemed a bit light on crab which affected the overall flavor. The atmosphere is chill and the music volume just right for conversation. We will definitely tell our friends that Sway thai is an Aspen favorite.

Very flavorful food and great service. What was disappointing is that the front desk did not communicate any dietary restrictions to our server. They ask you as soon as you walk in but it doesn't seem like it's passed along to the server. I also noted a request for a birthday in the reservation, and it wasn't recognized.

Absolutely delicious food and drinks! A nice change from all the American fare we’ve had on our trip. Def coming back next time!

Had our first meal last night at Sway Thai - it was excellent!

The staff and host were friendly and engaged and the food was a mixture of great flavors, textures and smells.

For apps we ordered the po-pea jay, som tam (a lovely papaya salad), salt and pepper tofu (just order it ?), salt and pepper shrimp (spicy and wonderful), and everyone raved on the Thai basil eggplant.

The mains were just as good - yellow curry, blue crab fried rice (a stand out), and the pad thai.

Best meal we have had in Aspen in some time - we will be back.

The place is chic, good vibes and service was excellent. I would recommend this place for a happy hour or to just hang out when you don't care much about the food. We ordered several items and I was sorely disappointed by every single one of them.

Thai iced coffee, it should have some evaporated milk or condensed milk, it's not black coffee on ice, if you'd like to serve black coffee on ice, would be good to specify that on the menu. Eggplant appetizer was soo sweet, it could be passed off as a dessert, lotus root salad was okay, chicken fried rice and pad thai were ridiculously sweet again, maybe some accompaniments like soy sauce or hot sauce or Chilli vinegar would've helped, we could only get chilli oil and it did not help much. Hopefully, it was just a bad day.

Dined at this Thai restaurant and had a mixed experience.
The ambiance was delightful and cozy lighting that created a vibrant atmosphere. The service was excellent; our server was attentive
Unfortunately, the food didn’t quite meet my expectations. Many dishes were on the sweeter side, which is unlike the bold, spicy flavors I typically associate with Thai cuisine.

Sway was excellent. Food was very tasty and not overpriced like many restaurants in Aspen. A few suggestions would be to not use a crinkle knife for the papaya salad so that the strips are all separate and have a spicier chili oil. My recommended dishes are the lotus salad, papaya salad, and son in law pork shoulder. I can’t wait to try more options.
