Good atmosphere. We came and they were playing the chiefs game. It was pretty busy. There was not a lot of seating soon we waited about 10 minutes. The waitress was good. I think we waited <30 minutes for our food.
The food was good bar food. I had a grilled chicken sandwich and that was good. It was $17 with fries. The other is chili and it was mid and that was $10.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience today was extremely disappointing. The server, a woman, was rude and unprofessional from the moment we sat down — no greeting, no smile, and an attitude that made us feel very unwelcome. It completely ruined what could have been an enjoyable meal.

Make sure you check your credit card statement!! Came in Saturday morning and had some drinks and food. The hostess thought she could add more of a tip than what we wrote on the receipt. We tipped 15 percent because service was extremely slow, but believe that is more than fair. Luckily we always take photos of our receipts because of situations like this and charged it back.
I am very local Aspen I live and work here and I definitely recommend Zane's tavern for a quick drink or a long stay. I came for a celebratory meal today fried chicken ranch sandwich and a local amber ale all great food and great service and an amazing atmosphere 09/30/2025
