“This Aurora location is the only one I ever visit, mainly because it's the one closest to where I live.

Staff is always friendly, greeting me upon arrival. The space is always clean the times I've visited. Because I usually order ahead using their app I don't really have to wait long to get my order. So far my orders have always been as described with no ingredients missing or wrong orders.

As for the food itself, they have a huge menu with so many options it CAN be overwhelming, I typically look in the app to see what has what ingredients in it as the menu on the board inside can be intimidating for me as there's plenty to choose from. I always order bowls so can't really say much for their smoothies and drinks. Their bowls are great, they typically have a base, some sort of crunch (which I love) and fruit with sweet toppings whether that be honey, Nutella, whip cream. I really like that I can mix and match toppings to my liking especially on the app.

Overall, I really like Playa Bowls more so than other businesses that also offer acai bowls, they have more options, their servings are slightly bigger and I like their loyalty/rewards program if you're a frequent purchaser.“

Getting to watch them make my smoothie made my day!! It had some subtle music in the speakers and the environment was very quiet. I high recommend take yourself or your family here.“

“Campo has the freshest food in Denver, hands down. I’m hooked, and my wallet isn’t thrilled about it. Every single thing I’ve ordered here exceeds my expectations. It’s fresh, healthy and delicious, and the two owners make you feel like family. Plus, the prices are very reasonable given the quality of the food. I recently called to ask if I could place an order and have them set it outside since I had COVID. One of the owners said he’d be more than happy to, but then mentioned they offer delivery. When my order arrived, it came with a sweet little note and an extra treat to boost my immune system. I can’t say enough good things about this place. Blue Magic with peanut butter instead of cashew butter is a must-try, or go for the caprese sandwich. And their avocado toast? Absolutely smothered in avocado and so, so good.“

My husband’s three cheese arugula toast was to die for delectable, while my bowl was stocked full of flavorful toppings. When battling autoimmune diseases, it’s both helpful and reassuring to find gluten-free options available. While they offer several juices with fresh ingredients, I noticed a warning sign that says they aren’t recommended for the immune compromised. Which is something I also appreciate—the company’s attention to safety. The noise level is low, making conversation between friends an absolute breeze. The aesthetic throughout is soothing, with neutral, earthy colors and plants prettily perched in every corner of the long room. Parking is plentiful, and this particular location especially stands out for its speedy, attentive service. Would absolutely recommend stopping in at anytime.“

“This place roasts their own coffee beans and it is absolutely fantastic. It’s got the most robust and flavorful hazelnut profile. They have a great outdoor patio with a small pond in front of it. Located in DTC, it’s quiet and peaceful. Inside has ample seating for its smaller size.“

“Liza the manager is so amazingly friendly and wonderful. Honestly all the staff is phenomenal. We live in highlands ranch, where there is a Nekter, but drive to this location for the staff and product quality. The same order tastes so much better at this location than the others! “I ordered two açaí bowls online and quickly realized I made a mistake by selecting whey protein, which contains dairy, even though I chose soy milk for the base for a reason.. I’m allergic to dairy. I called the location right away, hoping they could swap out the whey for a dairy-free protein. The woman who answered (who I assumed was the owner based on her answering and saying she wasn’t currently at the store), said the bowls had already been made and suggested I just give them to a friend.

I completely own that the mistake was mine, I’m not asking for special treatment, just a little understanding. The interaction could’ve gone a long way if it was handled with any flexibility or empathy of the situation. I wasn’t expecting a refund, just hoping for a solution that wouldn’t waste food or leave someone with a known allergy without a safe option.

Instead, the tone and lack of care left me feeling dismissed. It’s a small moment, but one that reflects how much (or little) a business values its customers. I won’t be going back.“
