Izakaya Restaurants near Aurora, CO

“Tried Leezakaya with friends and here are my thoughts.

The decor and ambiance is very nice with several areas for tables. There is a bar and a sushi bar where patrons can sit as well.

The food is Japanese pub style with sushi and other traditional items

The less impressive was the service. It took a long time for a server to get our order in (unsure if they were understaffed).

Then the food came out way too quickly as we ordered appetizers and entrees and they didn't give time to finish appetizers before mains were served. This made our table overly crowded. Hopefully they can figure out this for future visits.

The bento box I ordered was very filling.

Next time I'd skip appetizer and just get an entree as the portions were much larger than expected.

There is plenty of parking as they have their own lot and overflow for the strip mall adjacent.“

“If you're in the DU area, I feel Tatsu is a must try! The food was great, everyone enjoyed what they got. My kimchi ramen was killer! It's not a large place and it was filling up quickly during our visit. Looking forward to heading back when in the area!“
