A co-worker brought me here a few weeks ago for a quick lunch and I was blown away by how great the food was! Not only is the food made to order, everything is homemade down to the sauces. Great guys behind the counter as well - super friendly and personable and gave recommendations that helped me choose the perfect lunch. This spot is a MUST VISIT - even if you don't office in the building. It's 10000% worth it.
I wish I knew about this place sooner. I found it online while looking for good soul food, and I am blown away. So far, I have only had the pulled pork fries, but it is the best pulled pork I've had. I will be back to try more!
What great serendipity it was for me to run in to Robert at the Edgewater Music Festival on Saturday. The pulled pork sandwich was about the best I ever had and the fish was heavenly. I loved meeting Robert and his wife Sylvia (I think that is the right spelling). The basement location is convenient and cozy. I look forward to take one of my former coworkers there to check it out.
