“La Familia Restaurant is a great place to eat! The food was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The portions were very generous, so you definitely get a lot of food for the price. Everything tasted homemade and full of flavor. The prices are reasonable, especially considering how much food you receive. The service was friendly, and the overall experience was excellent. “Ive been looking for good Salvadoran food in Denver and finally found it. The churrasco was so good, juicy, well seasoned, and cooked perfectly. Came with rice, beans, and curtido and it hit every time.
The pupusas are the real deal too, crispy outside, soft and cheesy inside. You can tell they're handmade.
But honestly the Salvadoran horchata stole the show for me. It's totally different from the cinnamon rice horchata you usually see, way richer and more flavorful. Never had anything like it before.
On top of all that, the people running the place are genuinely kind and you can feel the pride they put into their food. This isn't just a quick meal, it feels like a little piece of home for them that they're sharing with everyone who walks in.

“One of the best deals in Denver! The pupusas are LARGE, accompanied with fresh salsa and slaw, and very tasty. A little Spanish will help in this Little San Salvador on a pretty rough stretch of Colfax. Once you’re in the door though they have lots of products in the shop, plus a full service restaurant for all things El Salvador.“

“This is one of my favorite places to get papuses, i like them a little crispy on the outside and the curtido is delicious too. The tacos are ok. But they do have the cutest frozen margaritas that come in little martini glasses with tajine and chamoy.“
