“Stopped for dinner after we arrived in Denver. Ordered 2 margaritas, a skinny and a mangonada. Both were large portions and tasty. For dinner we ordered shrimp and tacos and vegetable fajitas. The vegetables were very fresh and plentiful. The shrimp tacos were delicious. Ended our meal with fried ice cream, which had a nice strawberry fruit coating. Overall the atmosphere was nice and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The chips and salsa were bottomless.“

“I have only tried the breakfast burritos but they are the best I have found in the South Aurora area. The ingredients are well balanced and flavorful unlike some other places in the area that just fill the entire burrito with potatoes and very little of the other ingredients. I also like that they slightly grill the burrito as well. I did miss that it didn't come with some salsas on the side, but maybe you can request that. Fast and friendly service. I will definitely be back for more.“

“We got the super nachos with asada, and the tamals!
Super good!!! Their tamals are very different from all the sloppy ones in the Metro area. The texture is really extraordinary and they use enchilada sauce instead of green chili, which highlights the flavor of the pork!
Definitely recommend giving this one a try! We will be going back for sure!“

“What an amazing little taco place. The AlPastor is wonderful, all of the meats I tried were great, but the Pastor really shone as the best. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful when ordering and the service they provided efficient and prompt. The seating and restaurant itself is basically seat yourself seating with a little visual flair but is otherwise bland. I will definitely be hitting this spot whenever I am in town!“

“It is better to play more variety of music, not just agricultural music. They can alter with some rock.
Parking: There are more places to park.
Kid-friendliness: With the music they play lying down or it's music for children. Very bad music.“

The owners are a husband and wife team and they are always very happy to see us and come by and let us know that they are happy to see us. Also, the margaritas are great. We recommend coming here and we will be back!“

“We went on a Sunday afternoon, and my fiancé chose the spot. He absolutely loves Mexican food. We ordered a couple of Bloody Marys and I got the street tacos and crispy chilli renos. The flavor of the green chilli was not so hot you can’t eat it but had delicious flavor! The Bloody Mary had fantastic seasoning as well. My fiancé looked like he was in heaven with his burrito. We will be back again soon. It’s a family run place, and you can feel the love in the food!“

“This spot is my go-to every Sunday for a quick, cheap bite to eat. Everything I've had so far is on point. Flavor, presentation, wait time and price are great. The decor is a bit rustic. I usually get the quesadilla suprema. I add eggs of course for +(charge). The carne asada plate with shrimp never disappoints. A must try.“

“Very delicious food. I had the tacos and the soup. The price is great and the atmosphere is good. The only negative thing is that there’s always a lot of people they’re eating so you might have to wait a little bit for your food. Otherwise five out of five.“

“I am on a business trip and walked from my hotel. I had intended to go to Texas Roadhouse, but the entrance to Ajuaa! was very inviting. It portrays a classy ambience. My Margarita was enormous but well-deserved after dealing with construction and rush-hour traffic in the Denver area. My server was awesome. My Margarita was incredible! Dinner (Carne Asado) was delicious! The music and atmosphere were authentic. Definitely a thumbs-up from this customer!“

“Let me start by saying that being Mexican, I’ve head great tamales. I bought one of each first and tried them in the car before committing. These tamales were the closest I’ve found so far to authentic Mexican tamales. Starting with the size. You’re good with 2. The filling is generous and very tasty. red and pork tamales spice was on point. Mom like rajas although it was literally one pepper in the middle of the tamal (I suggest cutting them so it’s uniform) the green with chicken (usually my favorite) were ok. The masa is good. Not too thick, not too lard-y (shinny masa), could be a tad fluffier just need to mix a bit more. Price a bit in the higher side at $22 a dz but it’s a business and they’re good in size. The ONLY thing is that they’re not fully cooked. Maybe because it was the holiday season and they were rushed. I bought them while they were still hot, cooked them for another hour on low and they came out good. The staff was friendly the establishment left little to the imagination. It’s a pick up your tamales and go type of place. I’ll go back in hopes the quality is consistent.“
“Always freshly made and always greeted with a smile.“

“Look for the lush blue and green farmland panorama juxtaposing out from the questionable pedestrians hunch shuffling across the rutted sidewalks along Colfax, the deep historical pride of Denver. Here you will experience Mexican food hope located floating in the parking lot of a very vibrant tire repair place where it appears you can just drive up and they will jack up your car very quickly replacing one or four tires with not necessarily matching ones. Eat while getting fresh rubber!
On my first visit, I went for breakfast and got the b/fast burrito but instead of the default chorizo it comes with, I asked for carne asada (steak) as chorizo is one of those questionable intestinal meat delicacies that is a coin toss whether I will feel OK or if my stomach will be processing or rejecting the cursed tastiness for the next many hours/days.
I ordered it smothered which came with a solid green chili and I asked for a jalapeño as well which came out nice and roasted which slowly melted and lasted like a spicy green jalapeño jolly rancher in my mouth — sweet and spicy. Olé! The friendly ladies only gave me a red sauce, so I recommend asking for the verde (green) also as both are classically done with a medium kick.
My burro was slathered in a thick layer of Oaxaca cheese, which IYKYK. If you don’t, this is the Mexican version of mozzarella, but I swear they have the Italians beat. It is creamy and buttery and just plain delicious as it lovingly oozes across your tongue into your soul.
The beans were clearly freshly made, and the carne asada was seasoned perfectly. Overall, I enjoyed this burrito so much I only ate half of it to save the rest for later, and I’m a voracious eater. I paid $15 for this plus a Lipton tea, which was almost frozen like a slushy. So unexpected and so Mario’s Tacos!
I might not recommend this place for you ladies at night without some confident guards at your sides or at least be jujitsu-trained and packing with a heightened awareness for the unexpected. Totally worth it!“

“I've been eating at this restaurant for many years and, believe it or not, I've never had a bad meal...ever. It is packed 7 days a week and there's a reason why. Beyond the great variety of food with breakfast all day (139 menu items {not including 29 drink}). the help is absolutely incredible. You can tell they love the manager, Carlos, because they function as one big family. I'm 72 and have eaten, through my career, in countless restaurants in numberous cities and for the money (quite reasonable) this is my #1 favorite of them all (including many 5 star, exclusive restaurants. You won't find Beef Wellington, Duck à l’Orange,, Lobster Thermidor, Seafood Paella, Foie Gras., or Caviar on their menu, however; Escargot if you love real scratch Mexican/American cooking“
