I'm sure the manager's special would have been spectacular. It has chorizo, bacon and sausage. The staff was friendly and there was a two minute wait before I received my order.“

“I've been looking for good quality al pastor in Colorado for a good while and stumbled upon this place. The al pastor was really high quality! Reminded me of street tacos in some of the beach side towns in Mexico. The beef tongue and asada were also fantastic. Comes with a nice salsa bar with limes, picked onions, several salsas. “It is better to play more variety of music, not just agricultural music. They can alter with some rock.

Parking: There are more places to park.

Kid-friendliness: With the music they play lying down or it's music for children. Very bad music.“

“My husband and I love this place! The shredded beef burritos are excellent and we always get them smothered in green chili and the green chili is fabulous! The owners are a husband and wife team and they are always very happy to see us and come by and let us know that they are happy to see us. Also, the margaritas are great. “I have never reviewed a restaurant before because I’m super picky and prefer staying quiet as everyone’s tastes buds are different. I will say we aren’t food critics, we are just people who enjoy really good food.

But we came here to dine in the other day for the first time and it was amazing! The service was top tier, the lady behind the counter was friendly and patient with us. We would come back just for her!

The restaurant is super clean and cozy. Now onto the food - we ordered 2 bottle sodas, tacos, a tamale and a steak burrito. Wow just wow! The salsa was fresh and I loved that you can use as much as you wanted. We have gone to many Mexican establishments, but this one blew us out of the water. We have finally found our go-to spot!

We enjoyed our dine in experience and food so much that we ordered delivery the next day and ordered the same items but with more volume! We can’t wait to go back to try more items!“

“This is, in my opinion, the best Mexican food in Denver. I will admit, I am a gringo who bases this review off my favorite dish at any Mexican restaurant - Combo plate with a relleno, burrito and enchilada; but Los Alcatraces is above and beyond anywhere else I have tried.
The green chile has a great lingering heat and flavor to it. The rellenos are perfectly cooked and the cheese and onion enchilada with red sauce is divine.
I have had many versions of my combo plate across Denver, this is the absolute best.“

It’s family owned and their dishes bring the flavor of Mexico as though you were on vacation. Excellent Margaritas!!! Showcase dishes are Chilaquiles, Pozole, and Gorditas. Haven’t found anything in Denver like it!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!“

“I'm a truck driver and had to park on the same street as this food truck the night before not knowing they would be here.
When I woke up I saw them and went straight to Google reviews. Most were not lying this place is sooo good.
I had the Cartel burrito and it was tasty and affordable ($7, they accept CC.).
The people are also helpful, friendly and courteous.
I will be stopping here when I make my deliveries nearby.

My Margarita was enormous but well-deserved after dealing with construction and rush-hour traffic in the Denver area. My server was awesome. My Margarita was incredible! Here is my problem, every single thing we ordered came up higher on the bill than stated on the menu. It was 20 cents here, 50 cents there, and one item 1.00 more. Prices are reasonable, and you order at the counter. My huevos ranchero came on a large plate with three eggs for $14.
The kitchen is in full view from the small dining area, which often can be crowded. Parking is limited, especially the times when 18-wheeler rigs park on the roadside.
This is a destination for many truckers for sure.“

I had an amazing time here! The vibe and music created the perfect atmosphere, and the ladies working there, were cool and very knowledgeable about the menu. The place was clean and the food quality was outstanding.

I ordered the “cheese-crusted” quesadilla with brisket-Birria, which is now my favorite thing on the menu! I highly recommend getting fajitas and getting a side of salsa verde—it's pretty legit! 😍

Overall, I had a true 5-star experience. QDOBA is definitely way better than Chipotle! Don’t miss out on this gem.
