“My last experience at a Mexican seafood place in CO was pretty bad, so when my mom suggested we have dinner "at the place next to Vintage Theater" I was not thrilled. I checked out their menu online and saw there were plenty of non-seafood options, however, so I agreed to give Mariscos Uruapan a try. By the way, when I saw "lots of options" on the menu, I mean that there menu is a novel the likes of which I have not seen since Cheesecake Factory. They serve everything here. That can also be a red flag as the chances of things being done well goes down as the menu page count goes up. I was pleasantly surprised on arrival. They have ample parking despite being in the heart of downtown Aurora and the restaurant was adorably decorated. I noticed almost all the patrons were speaking Spanish and that every food item that came out was MASSIVE and looked and smelled pretty darn good. My mom is a very light eater so we decided to split something, which ended up being a surf and turf molcajete. It was very good! The whole pinto beans cooked in lard were another highlight, as were the fresh scratch corn tortillas. Despite splitting one entree between two people, we couldnt get through the whole thing. Oh, and the "surf" part of the dish - grilled fish - was the best part. I am now excited to return for more Mexican seafood dishes!“
“Great place for some poke. Very customizable which can be a bit overwhelming at first. If you sign up for their rewards you almost always have $2 off. Substitute the rice for greens and you have an amazing low carb high protein meal that's still delicious, which isn't always easy to find“

“Service was excellent from start to finishGreeted when we entered. Requested to be sat on upper level due to having a large party -16 guests. Paris was our server. Friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, and patient. When we first arrived there were it that many customers. By the time we left the restaurant was nearly full. I enjoyed the music which was courtesy of the server playlist. 90’s - 2000’s R&B. Food tasted excellent. Not too salty or buttery. Serving amount was fulfilling. “Wowowowowow! The environment, service, menu, prices and the FOOD was absolutely AMAZING! The rice came out in cute little heart shapes, the sweet and sour chicken had the perfect crispy breading, delicious crab rangoons, and flavorful Mongolian beef. We could go on and on about how impressed we were and can’t wait to go back again! “The sushi is a sound style and is very delicious, I give the seafood a 7 on this occasion because the shrimp in chile water is cooked in lemon and they served it to me 100% raw!!! The gut is not removed from whole cooked shrimp and it is difficult to remove it because it is already cooked, and the flavor is gritty if it is not removed for convenience. The prices are a little high.“
“Last night I attended my bfs company party and El Zarandiao catered the event and it was the talk of the night. We both LOVED the mahi mahi tacos, asada tacos and flan. They were sooo good I shamelessly took some home. I can’t wait to visit the site and try their ceviche.Additionally, they are so efficient and hospitable. Food came out quickly without compromising quality. After the huge rush I got the pleasure of speaking to the Staff and it was a highlight for sure. This is the first stop I’m making when I have my mom come and visit me!They did tell me to call ahead to ensure they’ll be onsite that day. “Our server/bartender was Liam and he made our experience very nice! The food was exceptionally good, we went for lobster fest and those were the biggest lobster tails I've seen from red lobster in a long time. It was all well worth the money!“

“Focus of most dishes here is on shrimp and heat. Yes, it's a little hole in the type of place but the portions are huge and prepared from scratch. Delicious! Have the chips and salsa while you wait. The salsa is to die for. Smothered burrito camaron sauce was soupy, but I liked it. LOL!“
“I live in this neigborhood for 4 years and didn’t know this place existed until a few days ago. It just not appearing on google map until you zoom in to the max. I wish this gets fixed somehow because this place is amazing. The food is wonderful, portions are ridiculously large and prices are more than fair. The restaurant is huge, lively and full. The service is great, beer is good, this is by far the best mexican restaurant I’ve been to. I had pork carnitas, highly recommended but be sure you are really hungry!“
“Such a great place to take your family and friends for quality wings. We order from here regularly and also dine in at times, the food here is always fresh! The place is clean and inviting and the people that work here have some of the best customer service in town. Per other reviews talking about cleanliness these photos were taken October 1st. When the order was ready, she came with an extra plate, and she demanded us that we need to pay for the plate even though We told her that she was wrong before putting the order in... “My mom and I prefer this Red Lobster location over the others, it’s worth the drive to eat here! The waiters are consistently professional and the biscuits are consistently done just right. Whereas recently we visited the Alameda location in Aurora and it was the opposite: waiters were not as professional or friendly, the biscuits were overcooked, and our food seemed like it was hastily made. My mom said her salmon tasted much better at the Southlands location. Plus it’s less crowded at Southlands and we always get a seat immediately!PS the Southern Tails dish they have right now is **chefs kiss**, my favorite part is the Mac and cheese.“
“My family was looking for a new Mexican restaurant and this one was suggested. It's actually a very large restaurant and was pretty crowded as it was a Friday night. Relatively short wait of 15-20 minutes. We were seated within that time frame but it seemed to take a while to get our order taken, about 10 minutes or so but we were immediately served with warm chips & salsa and a spicy type of slaw, which was very good. From first glance at the menu, they're very proud of their appetizers, which were quite expensive. It's a very extensive menu with a lot of mouthwatering items on it, but I found a majority of it to be overpriced, even with today's food prices. The food we ordered tasted very good and came hot to the table and we had very friendly service during the meal. The atmosphere is very loud inside, which isn't a problem if you're not trying to have intimate conversation. We didn't order any alcoholic drinks however the bar stayed busy and the drinks looked good. While I certainly enjoyed our meal there, this will have to be a restaurant on our "once in a while" list as it was on a bit more on the expensive side for our family. Would've loved to have tried the seafood enchiladas but just couldn't spend $22 on that. Great date night place.“
“Just discovered this place today. Wow! Friendly customer service, very helpful and attentive wait staff. The food was out of this world delicious! We ordered the Molcajete, Enchiladas de Camarones, Ceviche and Queso Fundido. Huge portions and the food was so incredibly flavorful. Margaritas were good too. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. We will be back.“
