“My husband and I gave up on all the “chain” restaurants and really wanted Mexican and I really didn’t want to cook. We found this place using Google Maps and raced over there before they closed, my husband got the Birra Tacos and a quesadilla and I got a smothers burrito and the cheese and onion enchiladas ala carte. AMAZING!! The food was packed with flavor, not so damn hit your couldn’t enjoy it - just perfect! So much so we had to go back for lunch today! 🙃

While we waited in store for our meal last night we observed the decor, very relaxing! While small the atmosphere was very authentic! It’s now our favorite go to for Mexican!!“

“My husband and I split Nachos with steak and chicken and shrimp fajitas. The nachos and toppings were fresh and tasty, large portion. The fajitas came in a sizzling bowl, very tasty, vegetables were cooked perfectly and the proteins were as well. They were flavored well with a little spice. So glad we didn’t to stop there while visiting family.“

My husband kids and I love our Mexican food and it's not easy to make us feel at home or excited about food... but when I tell you that there's days I'm at work and my kids text me and ask if we can come here for dinner!!!!! Boy! We love this place that much! The flavor is bomb the drinks are fresh and refreshing you literally taste it! It's not that powdered crap! They put their love into everything. The owner is so polite and caring he has great customer service. We go for the tacos and agua de pepino y limon but we recently tried the nachos and hamburger. Both were good but that hamburger will make you wanna slap your mama! I love this place. Seriously. Hands-down the only Mexican food in Thornton, worth your time and money. This is from the heart. Oh also, get the salsa! they have red and green, but the red is my favorite so I pour a little extra of that with a splash of green. You'll never be disappointed.“

“Tips… two margaritas is plenty. The queso fundito is tasty but too much (volume). We split the crispy fautos (chicken) and it was good but I’d go with the soft next time.

“I am from Mexico City and I know what real street tacos taste like. This restaurant sets up a tent on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Where they sell Pastor, Suadero, Tripa and let me tell you they are the best Street Tacos in Denver. But like I said only outside in the tent, Friday-Sunday from 7pm to 3am. Definitely I recommend them!“

“Place is sooo good! You can’t go wrong with ordering a Colorada Torta, if you don’t know what a torta is and your new to Mexican food go try one out.

I’d like to mention that it is not cheap. It has gotten super pricey so I’m not able to go here as much as I use too back when the tortas were $9-$10 now there just getting super expensive but worth it every once in a while.“

Pico, queso, and guacamole were as good as I remembered. The quesadilla was huge for sure and it was delicious minus the grease lol. But the service was excellent“

“This spot is underrated. Try it if you are in the area. The Colorado burrito (add sour cream) is so good every single time. It's 80% meat and about 10% potatoes and cheese with a little bit if Mexican salsa. Sometimes the potatoes need just a little more cook time but even then it's still delicious. Been dozens of times and have only gotten that and the breakfast burrito because they are fantastic.“
