We have been coming here for over a decade. The prices just get higher and higher. Breakfast for two is over $100 every time. Love Bachelors Gulch, but lately everything has an extra charge attached.

$28 for a 12oz cup of chili. Chili was cold. When we brought it back to the counter they replaced it with another cold cup of chili. They told us they had no way to heat it up and we could have something else. A Ritz Carlton shouldn't serve something they can't serve correctly.

We have it another chance. Incompetent, slow but good looking service (maybe a change of hiring policy would be advised) and mediocre food (soggy fried, dry chicken) combined with warm beer. And all for 50 USD per person incl. 24% flat tip.

This place is awesome!!!! Went with a group of ten and this was our favorite part of the trip. Grant and his crew did everything to make us feel at home. The staff was among the best we had in Beaver Creek. Not spending some time here would be a huge mistake should you visit Batchelor Gulch!!!!

Horrible. We stayed and had tons of issues. I emailed the GM after we escaped. He responded and agreed it was unacceptable regarding the details I shared. He said he would address with staff and get back to me. We never heard from him again! No wonder it's so awful! Needless to say, we chose to go to the Montage Deer Valley right after the laughable snd bizarre trip to RCBG. Montage Deer Valley should train the now (sadly) rif raf RCBG has turned into. PS here is a photo of how poorly the property is maintained.

If you want a luxurious hotel experience then DON'T come here. I've been to two other Ritz's in my life and they were amazing but this place is not. The front desk staff is actually sweet and amazing but if you want some quiet nap or reading time in your hotel room, dream on. Maid and engineer staff are constantly knocking on your door. We got a late checkout until 2pm and 3 different maid staff personnel knocked on our door asking us when we were leaving! The maids also yell to each other while cleaning in the next room and it's just so loud and disturbing that I felt like I was in a cheap motel from the movies. Just trashy and loud. Not worth the price. I suggest new management or a refresher course on what a Ritz-Carlton stands for. We will not be returning here.

I've always loved going to the Ritz when skiing in Beaver Creek! I ate lunch there one day last week, and got home and realized I'd lost my Credit Card. I called the Ritz and Doug in Loss Prevention found it, and promptly returned it to me! The hassle of canceling the card was averted! The service is amazing and it is the most beautiful setting!

What a shame for a Ritz-Carlton Hotel to have such a rip-off on their premises. Not only are drinks very expensive and food would match the OK category. The worst is that they are applying an automatic 24% tip to every bill ... which by itself is a already rip-off give the more mediocre service performance. The really worst is that they are giving you the final bill without reminding you of this practice - independent from the number of people in your party - or given any visible hint that they have already applied a very generous tip to your bill. So you are running the risk of tipping twice if you are not paying proper attention. BE AWARE ... THEY STEAL MONEY FROM YOU!!! Despite my complaint from September 2020 about this unmatched and dishonest practice.

I've stayed at the Ritz a few times now, but during Covid and not. It has become a very special place in our hearts, not only because of the location and customer service, but it just feels like you are in a winter wonderland (if you go when there's snow that is!). My now husband and I actually had our wedding at the Ritz and the entire team (Justin Chesney, Katie Shay) did a fantastic job navigating the Covid guidelines but also making our wedding everything we had hoped for. The suites are too notch... we had 3 fireplaces in ours! The ski in ski out location is what drives most people, but the customer service is what will keep you coming back.

I am still in shock that these 2 bloody Mary’s cost $25 each. A truly amazing and probably criminal rip off.

The location and lobby are beautiful, however, there are no extra special touches. The rooms are subpar and the robes feel so old and used. Food is decent but highly overpriced. The room service menu is very meh-- especially when you compare it to the Four Seasons. I think next time I'll stick to the Four Seasons, for the unmatched service, lack of crazy fees, and beautiful room. Nice vacation, but just expected more from the RC.

This is my very first Yelp review, but our family experiences at the Ritz-Carlton Bachelor Gulch have been so lousy I feel compelled to review. In May 2019 we stayed at the property with our 2 young daughters. Our 8 year old cut her foot/heel very badly on a piece of glass at the pool and the customer service surrounding the incident was HORRIBLE! In hindsight we should have taken her to the Emergency Room to have stiches/glue, but we were trusting the medical technician on the property. We did contact the hotel after our stay to let them know our feelings, but all we received was an email with an empty promise for a complimentary night. We ended up checking out of The Ritz-Carlton Bachelor Gulch and checking into the Westin!!! In October 2020 our family decided to give the hotel another. Once again we were very disappointed with the customer service- over 30 minutes to have our bags delivered to our room & when we said we would bring them up ourselves (our girls were eager to swim) we were told that we "could not touch our bags.") Upon taking our girls to the pool we were told the pool was closing due to staffing. We could have checked pool hours before booking, but they also could have communicated this upon check in. In the morning my husband waited over 30 minuted for 2 coffees in the downstairs lobby. Both times we stayed at The Ritz-Carlton Bachelor Gulch we were debating staying at the Westin. I am writing this review to communicate that the customer service at Bachelors Gulch is subpar at best. Skip staying at this property and do yourself a favor and book the Westin!

Decided to drive up to catch the leaves changing before they fell. What a great drive from Denver. Went through Breckenridge and Vail and it was beautiful. The resort pictures are exactly what you get, and it's only not a five star for me because I've been to other properties and they are a little more updated but hey! You're in the Rocky Mountains. Service has been great, we have reservations tomorrow night at Sakaba and I'm hoping the sushi is amazing after our hike tomorrow!!! Valet and check in went very smoothly, and Bear got a little spoiled too. *Very* pet friendly, lots of dogs around love music for everyone to be outside and relax and enjoy. Really good vibes at outdoor bar that feels like you're surrounded by beauty. Great weekend retreat.

Beautiful. The staff is on point with an exceptionally clean room. Stayed during September not much going on. I would suggest lining up you days with activities before arriving.

I was hired as a legal immigrant cook and had to trained illegals and worked next to illegal women Mexican felons, who were in jailed for assaults. While the ritz chargers their guests $3000 per night this ritz has dirty unmasks illegals serving YOU food. I quit on them because my tools were stolen and then three other cooks including the executive chef, we all got our tools stolen in the banquet kitchen. My knives were Japanese nearly $1000 on knives stolen. The executive chef wanted to flipped the whole hotel he was so angry his Japanese chef knife was stolen instead he quit. Spago closed down because we had to teach English and how to cook too, while these illegals drank, ate and got paid to do so. These Illegals work for an agency that the Ritz uses to cheat America. If you are here or eating here Ask to see the kitchen where your food is coming from ... you will want to run to a McDonald's after you see the people who's cooking and touching your food.Lock your room too! Hide your money!! Employees and managers will rob you in your room on ski season. , when hotel was being built it was left wide open roof with snow on it for months, there is mold all over that structure. Ritz had taken wildlife land to hire illegals Mexicans and charged guests for hundreds for parking! This hotel had only taken wildlife homes to pay illegals serve their ladies and gentleman with cheap labor
