Dinner at WYLD in Bachelor Gulch left me with mixed feelings. They started me off with a salad—not the caviar as promised—because the kitchen “couldn't figure out” the potato chips. Oddly enough, moments later, the caviar arrived with soy-fried potatoes (my allergy, which they were already aware of). Strange choice, and not exactly Michelin star precision. Our meal was wonderful. Buratta and Heirloom Tomato salads were fresh with great flavors. Halibut was perfectly cooked and delicate. The seared tuna was a bit boring, not very flavorful. Our servers were attentive without being annoying. As always the out door seating was a prefect compliment to out meal. We are looking forward to our next meal there.
The service was great, and the food was soooo good! Possibly the best steak I've ever eaten, tears of joy, for real! It was a little noisy being near to the bar, but the energy and ambiance was nice and we were able to hear our own conversation. It is relatively expensive but the quality of food went beyond what you would expect, so well worth it for a special night out. Save room for dessert.
