This is baed on an experience a year or so ago: I always head for any new specialty coffee and I have suffered through this business's non-service service because if the right barista happens to be there, the espresso really is good. But, honestly, they lost me early on because they were more often closed than open. Hours that were posted seemed to be ignored and I got used to not getting my hopes up. Headed there one mid-afternoon I was totally psyched so see that they were actually open. I took two steps through the door and a shout from the back "we're closed," and looking around me at the pleasant decor I thought, how strange, I feel like I just invaded someone's private space after they sent me an invitation to visit. Admittedly, I let the door close a little harder than I usually would. I got halfway down the street, then a woman came out and gave me a lecture on "community" behavior while I gave her a lecture on basic business practices, like posting hours and being open when you say you will be and providing good service. I was thinking to myself, well maybe we now just live in a world where "community" means that I'll just help someone with the pretense of operating on a "higher plane," where being in it to make money would be,... oh so plebeian! Well, they've been around for a while now and I've moved on but am somewhat tempted to pop in and see if anything has changed, any lessons on survival for them or maybe, even for me.

Great food lovely little cafe. The negative is that they need to turn their heat on, especially in their rest room. It had to have been in the low 50s in the rest room.

My family and I visited here this past Saturday around 12p. The people behind the counter were very rude and not helpful. Customer service was very poor. Every person in our party was very put off by the poor service.

Espresso by itself is not extracted well for a shot. Probably better if you’re getting milk and sugar in your drinks.
Baristas were very friendly
