It was our anniversary, we were seated in front of the fireplace, wonderful. Seafood appetizer wonderful. Mushroom pasta wonderful, I had cioppino, deep rich tomato broth with fennel and very fresh seafood. We finished with a Catalonia chocolate crème brûlée, so rich and creamy! After a 5 mile hike earlier we were very hungry and very happy with our great dinner. Thank you, L and C

Always a delight and pleasure to dine at Tempranillo. What a gift to have wonderful ambiance, welcoming and helpful service and great food and wine/drink options in our little town. We haven't found such consistent positive experiences anywhere else around.

This former local favorite was disappointing last night. Service was excellent, food was fair, smaller portions that are more expensive. Won't be back unless we hear its gotten better. Too bad.

Tables were crammed together making the dining experiencing awkward and challenging. I realize New Years Eve is a very busy night to dine out...but too much was sacrificed at our expense. Service, Ability to converse, getting in and out of our chair was nearly impossible without intruding on the next table of diners, etc. we would never dine again here for a holiday meal. None of our requests on Open Table were met, which was unfortunate because it happened to also be an important anniversary celebration.

Wow, on service from Alexander, who made our experience even better! Every single dish was tasty-delicious, and 6 were had. From the delightfully prepared paella, lamb shank, salmon, pasta...dates, yummy!
Came here with a friend for ladies night on Wednesday and it did not disappoint! Ordered a few dishes to share, and everything was lovely. 10/10 recommend. Also a very cozy space by the fireplace in the winter time.

Had a wonderful dinner! The restaurant might have been short staffed but the workers were incredibly efficient. Our meat/cheese appetizer was spot on with a perfect combo of flavors. My son had the Saffron Paella that was loaded with seafood. Saffron can be tricky but they used it just right! A++ experience!

What a great experience! Fantastic food. We enjoyed some 1/2 price tapas and a main course chicken piccata. Shout out to Lance who provided us with great service, menu guidance, stories from the older Aspen days and some fine chuckles.
Everything about the evening was wonderful except the construction that made it difficult to navigate the route to the restaurant. They have been dealing with the road construction and are wonderful to their patrons!

If you’re looking for authentic Spanish food, go somewhere else because you won’t find it here. I saw a waiter ask someone if they wanted Parmesan on top of their paella. Insanity!
However, if you’re looking for a nice place to chill and have a decent dinner, then you’ll do fine here. The pasta portion was huge.

One of the worst culinary experiences I've had in my 52 years. The $43 “fish special” was no more than an old shoe. Tough leather and raw. Sent it back and it came back even worse. Never again!

And we are back! Six years later: service still certainly a little slow. After 20 minutes we had our drinks and then an hour we had our appetizers. At least the food was pretty good though. The paellas are for 1.5 people (very big for one, but probably not big enough for two). The tostado was excellent and the frito misto was satisfactory. The atmosphere is quite pleasant, at least outside, so once Tempranillo works out its service time kinks, we should be good to go!

Our food was excellent. Out waitress was very warm and friendly. She had too many tables so our service was slow to get started. After that things went perfectly. It was not her fault. She had a great attitude.
