A local gem! One of our favorite places when visiting the RF valley. I always get the trout and it’s always delicious! Bison stroganoff and elk burger are our two other favorites. Trout pate is a must! Great selection of local beers. If you are looking for good local food and atmosphere, look no further.

Hard to beat the vibe of this place. Right on the river in the wonderful town of Basalt. Couldn't be more perfect! Food is good too!
Server was awesome. Bartender was rude and ignored me at first before we had gotten a table when others in our group got drinks no issue. (I'm black and often have issues in certain spaces) When I tried again after being sat she tersely told me I needed to order from my server on a separate tab rather than just serve me so the entire tip would be hers. Not a smart money move and not a good customer service move. No smile all sass. Otherwise decent food. Get a better bartender for nights. Brunette older woman probably near 55 by looks.

Our server was excellent! However the bartender, gal with long dark hair in a braid with tattoos was absolutely rude and unwelcoming. Don’t recommend sitting at the bar or even trying to ask for anything. It’s unfortunate that a local watering hole treats their patrons this way.
